I enjoyed that conversation. I only really got into AC/DC maybe 25 years ago when I'd be in my late-20s, after someone told me how great Back In Black was. Imagine my shock when I discovered the Bon Scott era some time after. Bon and Brian are both legends but Bon really was a one-off.

That's a shame. My grandad appeared on it in the Mr Puniverse competition. Bless him.

The video is only short of someone smashing baldy right in the chops.

Tim, I think you're great an' all but everything's behind a pay wall these days. Just my thoughts but maybe you'd get more interaction on here if people could see the article.

These two can fuck right off for me. Another cynical money-grab.

I had it the other day when I got into a spat with some Yanks over how Trump became president (again). I was accused of randomly entering a conversation that had apparently nothing to do with me because I'm not American. π€·ββοΈ

Growing up as a kid in the 70s, I never really liked Bob Monkhouse. Celebrity Squares would be something my grandparents would watch. When I got into my late teens, I began to appreciate that far from being just a quizmaster, he was a great comedian. I miss his sharp wit.

...by failing to turn up TWICE so we strongly felt he undervalued deliberately. Bottom line is, our buyers demanded a reduction in the asking price which caused us issues because of how much we could borrow for a new house ourselves. It eventually all went through but the chain nearly collapsed.

I had the opposite happened to me a few years ago. Estate agent valued the house consistent to other properties on the street. House went up for sale, 1st time buyers agreed the price, then when we had a surveyor round, he knocked Β£10k off. We had previously complained that he had messed us about...

It's hard to imagine this even needs saying. During my time at uni in the 90s, my corridor in halls was exclusively lads with the girls upstairs. We made it into something akin to Animal House. We'd have had other kids crying before the end of Freshers' Week - and that's before the fingering started

Mike Walsh. A trio of top Bolton players who had got us back into the top flight before relegation after 2 seasons went to Everton around that time. The other two being Jim McDonagh and Peter Reid.

Shame on them. And shame on the Democrats for not persuading voters to vote in probably the most crucial election for a generation. But yeah, Kamala ran a brilliant campaign...

The EU Referendum that led to the UK leaving the EU wasn't run on party lines. In fact, the pork-faced Tory PM whose brainchild a referendum was, David Cameron, actually campaigned to remain. Many on the Left campaigned for Brexit. It was far more complicated than you make out.

...world has skin in the game when it comes to Trump. Tariffs, destabilising the Middle East, alienating allies, causing chaos on the world markets - all of this affects everyone not just the good ol' US of A.

I would have voted for her too if I was American. But mainly because the alternative was worse, much worse. IMO, the Democrats run a terrible campaign. How could they fail to exploit the scandals, moral destitution and criminality of Trump? Amy claimed I don't have "skin in the game." The whole...

That statement may stand up if people didn't know what Trump was like and what he'd likely do as president. But he's spent at least the last 8 or 9 years telling you and American voters made him president TWICE. Have they suddenly realised they hate what they voted for in 2016 as well as 2024?

White, black, pink with blue spots... it doesn't matter what the colour of your skin is, you get 1 vote each & unfortunately, Trump got more votes than Harris.
You can hold on to the delusion that Harris ran a great campaign all you want. To lose to a man like Trump suggests otherwise, BUDDY.

We have similar problems here in the UK. Farage's Reform Party plays to the downtrodden, disenfranchised & poorly educated. In response, our 2 main parties, the Conservatives and Labour have moved to the Right in response. I don't agree but some argue there's little to choose between Lab & Con now.

Probably not. I'm just fed up of seeing posts from mainly Americans who seem to think they're some kind of freedom fighter because they've posted a meme mocking the fat, orange nonce. Yeah, we know he's stupid. Yeah, we know he's a dangerous sociopath. What are you gonna do about it?

Well, I'm not going to argue with that π. Sadly, the same can be said for us Brits.

Fair points, mate. I would also add, complacency and apathy from potential Democrat voters and a terribly lacklustre Harris campaign.
