Just had a bit of a scare where my browser crashed, and I lost all my tabs, because my session file got erased. Luckily, I had a backup from last night! BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP! If you're not running regular backups, you need to. If you're on Linux, I can't recommend Pika Backup enough!

When I got my first computer, it had a 100MB hard drive. I distinctly remember thinking, “100MB is so much space. How am I going to fill this up?” A couple weeks ago I bought an additional 16TB hard drive, because the first one that holds all my definitely legally obtained media is getting full.

It's just so darn funny that when my wife and I made $42k a year, we qualified for free medical insurance, but now that we make $46k a year, our medical insurance costs $350 a month, or $4.2k a year. Makes me think a lot about recent events.
