I personally don’t think it’s a good idea for the government to be using a truck with such an easy to exploit vulnerability that would basically be impossible to detect until the Cybertruck just falls apart. It’s a terrible design for so many reasons, but this one should be a deal breaker.

Just a little PSA that you should share to help spread awareness. It will completely destroy a Cybertruck if you put gallium on its frame, so absolutely **do not** do that.

Sorry, which execution does it require?

Also, fun fact, that code is in the public domain, so good luck suing anyone who steals it from you. It's for this reason (among a few others) that I don't have a single line of AI generated code in port87.com
I wrote all the code, and I'm proud of that.

If you can’t, there are people in the comments who’ve offered their help. I could also help guide you through the process. It’s not very hard, but it requires a USB drive to boot from, another PC to put an OS on that drive, and an external hard drive to write all the recovered files to.

Usually you can recover most files after a format, but very first thing you need to do is turn it off and don’t use it at all. Any new thing written to the disk can overwrite an old thing. If you can take it to a data recovery place, this would be a very easy job for them and probably not too pricy.

Fun fact: AI images aren’t copyrightable. So if this is AI generated, Disney doesn’t own the copyright.

OnlyOffice and LibreOffice are both free office suites. They’re open source too, so no one can take them away from you. They’ll always be free.

Congrats @rich-harris.dev for the roll out of Svelte 5. :) I don’t know how you’ll top it next time, but you always find a way.

I’ve just recently used `untrack` for the first time. Runes are pretty intimidating at first, but I’m really starting to like them.

This is why people ask me to implement things that break the Material Spec in SMUI. Nobody reads it. :(

That sucks. I hope your recovery is quick.

It's even funnier that the government provided insurance covered more than the insurance we're now paying for.

Joe Rogan doesn't know what a news source is. That's very unsurprising.

My best friend died a few months ago, and after I had moved away in 2020, gaming was how we stayed in touch. We would hang out all the time online, playing games. I don't know if I would have been able to share those times with him if I just had consoles.

I don't understand how it works under the hood, but I do understand that all the work Valve et al. have done for Linux gaming has allowed me to ditch consoles and get back into PC gaming, after switching to Linux in 2008 and essentially having to give it up for a decade.
