Any plans for this to appear on Mac?

Different use cases. WYSIWYG often requires coding knowledge behind the scenes to address edge cases and responsiveness. Block Editors generally fit the content into the design without needing coding knowledge.

As an old person, today I am enjoying a new album that I love as much as I did Fear of a Black Planet back in the day. Thank you.

Just rewatched this after viewing the new one on Prime. The new one has all sorts of grit, but it lost the heart that the original has. I can't say it's a great movie, but I love it and rewatch it every few years.

It's not about getting the right podcaster or talking head. Trump deliberately adopted Bernie Sanders' populism because it was so attractive. It's about not being centrist, and actually working for the American people, not just the wealthy.

They put so many strawmen in their chest-thumping tweets

Yep and we all said as much when they came along, but to no avail.

And why are they growing up like that? Could it have something to do with the Republican war on public education?

Salem's Lot. Read it way too early and for nights afterward, I would review who I had invited into my house ever, just in case they were a vampire and I needed to be aware.

I think I took this a different way than others. I read it as if healthcare isn't allowed for them, and the sad part is that is what they believe because of the US healthcare system. If they were being elitist, it's actually not as bad to me, as internalizing you don't deserve health care is horrid.

Yep. Actually getting rid of state departments is difficult. But making sure they are non-functional is an effective way to destroy taxpayer-funded services. These people are evil. No two ways about it.

He's Peruvian. Pretty sure Trump would deport him instead.

Yep. Sorry, not a night I can bring out the bright lights and project hope. Tough times.

I hope so.

I have no idea. We could be living under a fascist propaganda drive regime in 10 years, and this would be a moot point. For now, all I can do is try to find fact-based reporting and support it until it dies. I really don't know what's coming :/

Yes, I am still vague because I don't trust social media. The Bulwark is good. MeidasTouch is good. The Lever. 404 Media. A bunch of talking heads here on Blue Sky who actually post facts in their substacks... Big News is being disintermediated just like the other media was.

Yes I've watched the funding be cut over and over since Reagan was elected. Death by a thousand cuts. But becoming a more centrist organization in response turned me off. It may have been more appropriate as America's politics became right wing to turn centrist. But I don't have to support it.

Nope. Just more likely to give me what I want. We're already in the transition to a subscription economy, and my subscription to NPR is currently paid by my taxes and nothing else. I'll switch as needed. Yes, it sucks.

A variety of sources from left to right. Read with discernment. I don't want to list any specific sources here because every time I get into a discussion on Blue Sky so far, it turns out it's not in good faith. So I don't want to have someone picking through my choices. Sorry.

As the saying goes, “If someone says it’s raining and another person says it’s dry, it’s not your job to quote them both. It’s your job to look out the window and find out which is true.”

Example: "Trump says X. A new poll shows 57% of Americans disagree." This is designed to elicit feels while not actually doing anything. Adding facts like "X is verifiably false, and here's the proof", or the converse, if what Trump said is true, is what I want out of news.

As is unfortunately common now, I am forced to subscribe to independent news sources that I can trust for verifiable, fact-based reporting. This kills my pocketbook, so I have to be very selective. My beliefs are too far left to be adopted by any mainstream politician, but I'll still hold them.

My first computer!! I had to save birthday AND Christmas money for months to buy it and I loved it so much. <3

The government gives them a mere pittance after decades of Republican war on public media, so they have to appeal to the public for money. If I don't like what they are doing, I don't have to give them my money. What will be left? Everyone who likes what they are doing. Their choice entirely.

Ever since you cozied up to corporate money and started doing talking head journalism, I stopped donating. I prefer journalism that states facts instead of what the propagandized public "feels".
