In normal times, I would agree. But in today’s times the constitution seems to be up to interpretation.

I think this poster is just a troll and should be ignored.

You’re a terrible person. You should stop posting.

Pretty sure your statement of “I’m so sick of you people and your one issue” (the issue being trans rights) is what stoked the push back. The question is, why are you excluding trans issues from your acceptable platform? And, Why does including them make you sick? Rephrase your outrage, perhaps.

What about just “violent and angry”. You watch a mother pleading with violent ICE officers to let her go get her children from school while intermittently screaming “salvame” and then see if you don’t get angry. Then watch it happen a hundred more times and see if you don’t get violent. “Criminal”?

In my wildest dreams I could never rattle off band names like that. I have so much admiration (and deep jealousy and hatred) for people whose brains have superior recall like this. An interview like this is my worst nightmare. Good luck Councilman Brennan! Punk Rock On, you Vegan Straight-edge Guy!

It could also be your issue… just saying. There’s room in the issue box for Trans rights. If you added Trans rights abuses to your reasons we might have a civil war, you might read the room differently.

Why is the only place I’m seeing this posted in on Fox channels or X? The only other news I can find about a Wayno fire is in San Francisco months ago…?

That’s not good.

I’m also looking forward to what is to come. If only we actually knew. One step at a time. We do our part. You never know where or when or who the tipping point is. But we’ll know when we know. Keep the faith. We are in unprecedented times even as history is rhyming. We are the allies.

I think a good use of Washington’s national guard is to protect Immigrants from ICE. Maybe you could send at least one guard to wherever it is reported that ICE is targeting and let that guard protect those people. #ABOLISHICE

Gavin Newsom needs to get his ass to LA and tell the troops to go home. And then fucking get people out of detention and abolish ICE since they are terrorizing HIS constituents. God, where is the courage of our leaders?! @governor.ca.gov Go to LA now! What are you waiting for?

Here’s the thing though: who gets to decide what is patently unlawful?

Well… I feel that. That’s why I have both a dog and a large teddy bear. Haha Oh and I live very near a big Doug Fir tree. I’ve never tried it, but I hear “Free Hug” signs are really effective. Maybe I’ll try it first and let you know. Sending you a virtual hug in the meantime. You matter.

2000 called, 300 showed up. Nothing to do. Police marched in the LA Pride parade. There’s a propaganda machine trying to Trump Up the protests against ICE kidnappings and violence against protesters. Don’t believe the media machine. Listen to LA Indy media voices.

I know. Man. I wish this was easy. I believe in Angelenos though. Some of the smartest, scrappiest most creative people live there. And they’ve already been through so much just coming out of the devastating wildfires. It’s a different tinderbox now though, huh? Go LA!!!

Someone needs to make video with this monologue over the top. The video should be of what ICE really does.

Rest, friend. It’s temporary. Make art, hug somebody. All you have to do is breathe today. I’m with you.

The NG isn’t in LA because there were people throwing rocks at cars. You must know that. This has been the plan all along. They’re in LA because Trump is a megalomaniac drunk on the idea of power that he sees in other authoritarian regimes. It was inevitable. Rocks are nothing against disappearing.

Agreed. There is much to be learned from outside our borders and from within. To be honest, I don’t think the problem is a lack of knowledge of what to do, it’s a lack of will and courage to do something that might kill you. We’ll get there.

Interesting idea, but then what?

Timing is everything and this is a long fight. There are a lot of roads to Rome. It’s time to get creative about how to disrupt a regime. “Violence” comes in many forms. Guns are not our only weapons. Let’s stay connected to each other and learn what works. We’re going to win. Brains v brawn.

And prepare for the inevitable? That seems reasonable.

It’s ok to be both brave and afraid. Hold space for both and move in the direction of your dreams. I’m with you.
