My tip is to practice standing on one leg while brushing your teeth.
Check you are not on a loose mat etc & can grab something solid if you wobble.

Sadly a local teacher totally destroyed my confidence and any enjoyment I had in it.

Not all - many people, like me, find the excessive noise of tvs and thumping music in gyms makes them ill, even in the changing room.
There is a pe teacher/marketing mentality that doesn't bother to understand we are not all loud and aggresive.

Please can I ask how you fixed the pot to post.

Did humans pay 'nature' to take the fish and habitat etc 'owned' by gulls?
Also, why 'steal'? Humans haven't given wildlife legal rights, so how can they be judged under our legal code?
Pre-judiced journalism as usual.

And with the roof closed - floodlights on a sunny day, what a waste, just looking old and sad cf the bright & open twickenham ground.
Bath just treated it like a work experience outing for the 2nd team

I see why people are concerned;
it's not wrong to be, but to put the statistics in context.
Honestly I was deeply depressed myself until I saw this.
A concerning amount sure and it really is the Old Boy's Network I'm sure in the BBC and regulators who causing this mess & this is the best they can do

Why focus on heat pumps vs fossil fuel? Simple immersion heaters work fine, cheaper to fit than gas; and most of year free with own solar.
(and why 'natural' gas, there is a lot of processing, complicated infrastructure and political/business machinations to get it to your boiler)

Not an agreement as such; they got sued huge amounts for the rav4ev after gm sold the niMh battery patents to chevron (they were afterwards limited on the size of battery they could use, hence hybrids). That has to leave scars.

I found the ClayMate app works well. Not so easy to sketch ideas, but great to log photos, clay & glaze

Please be aware that most garden centres are not in the US; please can USians be more aware that the world is not all about you, then, perhaps, you might have a happier, healthier more tolerant society (applies to other countries too).

Mostly invasive 3-cornered leek down in Penwith 😒
But it works ok in wild garlic recipes, helps keep it down; pull out the bulbs too

Mongolians could ride rings around european & middle eastern knights in part because they had silk 'armor' - the threads tangle around arrows enabling them to be removed easier

Another tip - allow to dry after applying glaze, especially if you fill the inside of the pitcher.

I have raku fired with several different types of clay, eg paper clay, st agnes buff & white; hand build & thrown. Most work ok if bisque fired first, have good, or no, joins, and have no sealed spaces (some narrow neck vases exploded when glaze ran & filled hole).
Have fun
