I think it's neat how the theme song from the Disney "Gummy Bears" animated tv show is probably in your head right now

Anne Frank was handed over *to immigration control*. That's how it happened. She and her family ended up in concentration camps, and died. We the people should fight ICE with force. 2A bros, you should shoot them. I am serious. This is the time. These are fascists. This is authoritarian takeover.

Like, I’m not gonna do this, I am tbh a coward with a lot to lose, but offing an ICE agent would not be too much.

In the end, the ring theory is just a rough guide, a reminder that garbage *must* be disposed of, support *must* be given, and grief is a team activity. It's on all of us to honor the mourning, in whatever way we can see to minimize harm to ourselves and others.

And likewise, there are things that I'd of course never know about him, and vice versa. Who loses more? The parent? or children? or partner? or colleague? or friend? or distant acquaintance, who lost even the opportunity? Who is more entitled to grief? It's so messy.

There are certainly things Mikeal understood about me that no one else ever fully could, even people much "closer" to me. And the reverse is likely true as well, though of course now I can never know for sure.

Obituaries read like LinkedIn profiles, and it's hard to watch it being written right now. I know everyone means well, and they're showing their respect and love of what they saw of him. Just my grief making me grumpy about it. I want to scream, you all don't even know how much was lost!

Mikeal was the most religious person I knew, both in the sense that he was a devout Buddhist, and in how he approached everything he did, whether it was cooking or coding or conversation, with his whole focused spirit.

No, see, the sorcerers are sharing the cup, it's both of theirs, so it's the 2 sorcerer's one cup.

History watches our proceedings. The future will judge these actions, and it will not look favorably on those who turned weapons on civilian communities, who separated families, and sent innocents to labor camps thousands of miles away in exile.
