Thanks for pointing it out! I updated the link.

I have an account but only comment.

Ah, classic Debbie Downer mode. I totally get it—had a family member who could turn winning the lottery into a tragic tale about her taxes. Hopefully she surprises you.

It can be so hard, but sometimes ripping the bandaid off is the kindest thing you can do for yourself. One less stressful thing weighing on you = one less thing for MS to weaponize. 🫂

Hopefully results were good!

Just your nervous system reminding you you’re still alive—and that it’s a backstabbing, traitorous bastard. Hope disco mode shut off by now.

I don’t know how many times I’ve deleted a post to fix a typo. Then think oh great, I just annoyed everyone by double posting. 🤣

Sorry to hear. I’m not sure if they distinguish between former/current. Most likely may say what qualifies when you sign up go through the intake questions.

I’m good 50-75. The temp regulation symptom comes out a few times a month but always seems like it’s always an opportunistic offender lol

Incredible

Oh no. I'll ask about it. I know sometimes they have limited spots for particular surveys but haven't seen them limit signing up.

👍🏼 - Signing Up 👎🏼 - Having a body that feels like it’s been hit by a truck 🤗 Welcome to the side of the chronic illness economy—where your misery finally gets monetized.

No one wondering where the hair between the legs is coming from? 😂

Seemed every appt I had they wanted me to recount every fall and the reason. I finally said "Pretty sure we've established it's all from the MS". So now they just ask if I've hit my head during any falls 😂
comment in response to post
That's rough. It shouldn't be that difficult to get the attention you need. Hopefully the drooling is gone.

Just a few years, officially. Had it way before I knew—mild stuff I blamed on aging. Then came a hand tremor that was crazy leading to my dx. Once I saw the full laundry list of MS symptoms, I was like “Ohhh… so that’s what all this random weird shit has been since my 20s.”
comment in response to post
Maybe that's the trick.! Just keep triggering it and it gives up eventually. Mine suck too. I think the hand tremor is the most obnoxious tho.

Should start a club. I and a few other friends ask each other often when it's going to happen for us lol

You got the deluxe edition of MS? Where do I get that upgrade—mine came with the bootleg electric chair version 😂 But seriously, with all the nonsense this condition hurls at us, I’m glad you at least got one symptom that didn’t suck. We all deserve a small win wherever we can get it. 🧡

Built a site for a vet clinic group in Oz. They wanted me to fly out—same with a fitness biz. Hard pass. I’ve done biz class: Rome, Prague, a few EU runs in the peasant seats too. After a few hours, I just want to yeet myself out the emergency exit.

Figures. I had a few opportunities to go there for work and passed. Would have loved to go but it’s like a 22hr flight from the US. Far too long for me to be stuck in a fart tube. 😆

The names of these drugs make me laugh. You know they have some guy that reaches into a Scrabble bag and pulls out a handful of tiles and makes a name out of whatever he pulls.
comment in response to post
Do the meds help at all? Like if you stopped them do you think it would get worse? I haven’t tried anything yet but starting to consider it.
comment in response to post
Annoying is a good label. I too have other stuff that is more of an issue. I’m waiting for a robot body 😂
comment in response to post
Yeah that would be annoying. I managed to not have it until my last relapse. Picked that one up and new leg tremors.
comment in response to post
Oops, courtesy of MS brain fog. We’re calling it a limited-edition collector’s item—typo included for authenticity. 😂

Adderall is the brand name I guess. The generic name is amphetamine. I’ve had it since I was a kid but never addressed it. Gen X- you just sucked it up and figured things out on your own 😂 was the main issue from the neuro psych test I did a few weeks back. How your dumpster fire treating you?
comment in response to post
Not too bad considering what we all deal with on a daily basis lol. I stopped the Modafinil this week and replaced it with Adderall since I picked up an ADHD dx. Seems to be helping more with the fatigue. My drug tests are looking more like ‘let’s see what she’s not taking’ 😂

I originally wanted Kesimpta, but got “lol no” and they handed me Briumvi instead. Honestly? Not mad. One hour every 6 months, and all I get is a runny nose for a few weeks and my B-cells packing their shit. No fridge-stabbing. Would I switch? Only if Kesimpta comes with better snacks. #ByeBCells

Hopefully today is better.

Ocravus? I’m on Briumvi. Takes an hour. Only side effect has been a runny nose for a few weeks after. Also no crap gap.

This so much!

Looks like someone bought a janky photoshop filter from Temu. Must be doin lines before applying it.

I was the same. After seeing the fjrst MRI things started making sense. Weird things that I blamed on getting older or other issues. Then you read about all the different symptoms and it’s like Ohhhh k. I have that and that and that etc. Not a death sentence. Just takes some adjustments. 🫂

I hope it went well!

There goes my diet 🤤

I’ve been getting a lot of these random texts over the last week. Haven’t engaged tho, just block & delete lol

Hand sanitizer…. Yeah hand sanitizer. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

All the vest options were garbage. Got a neck A/C. Doesn’t spray water, which wouldn’t work for me but it gets surprisingly cold and has a heat option which is great for a northerner 😄
comment in response to post
Nice! Not a get rich quick scheme but some pocket money. You can buy the beers next time 😂

I’ve been dealing with it since 2002. Back then I got “you have the spine of an 80yr old” and only had 2 discs buggered. Now I’m up to 6.

For me, sometimes a quick cold or hot shower helps to snap me out of it.
