"Protect the innocent" there is nothing innocent in that picture. You all still have massive piles of shame and we all know it. *side eyes my own pile of unpainted plastic*

Help? I know several people who are just going to join you. People like @matthewkrol.nebula.tv who is suspect is trying to figure out how many hours he can squeeze in between meetings and recording sessions.

Thank you Gritty, very cool. More places need to take some pages from Philly.

Also, maybe Lockheed Martin weren't completely insane when they put forward that concept nuclear-powered aircraft carrying aircraft. It's just, it took nearly 40 years and it's completely unmanned.

It turns out that we have trained these systems on entire bodies of available text and maybe the text predictor might react like the AIs in our cautionary tales when they're told to predict the next word and they're given a prompt that includes them being shut down.

So I went and pulled the license for that piece of artwork, and it explicitly allows the modification and use, including in marketing and merchandising, without attribution. As far as I'm concerned this is fine.

Upon actually digging and looking at that, I don't think it was. I think that was drawn into the design. It's got shading and color blocking that matches the rest of the image.

I mean, she's right about Netflix, but why does she have to besmirch the good reputation of Advil like that?

I'm not even 30 and I'm already feeling that....

One of my favorite solutions for this is to tie forced retirement age to the average life expectancy in the US for the most vulnerable demographic. It would be a very interesting law to write up and is open to a lot of shenanigans but it would be interesting.

He's not wrong in his wider conclusions. He's just wrong in the bell that he's reaching for. Because it's not the scandal bell, it's the crisis bell. We have an age issue in US government.

Control your own data. Demand a court order for access.

If you absolutely must have cameras on your house, ensure that that data is fully controlled by you and is stored in your house or on another device of your personal control. I personally recommend Ubiquiti for people who don't have the full technical chops to set up an NVR from scratch.

Spite for Elon is the nuclear power of social media. Sure, it's not renewable, but it's also not depleting.

If they're stopping gameplay every two to three minutes, I don't think it's that other player that's causing the team to lose.

Congress has proven itself both incapable of wielding that power properly and far too interested with its own conflicts of interest to be allowed to fill that role.

It's not a replacement for media literacy, but it does make accessing some of the surrounding bias and context a little bit easier to access than it might otherwise be.

I've used it quite a bit. It can be. You kind of have to be careful, because occasionally the systems they have in place don't group stories properly, and it really requires the higher subscription tiers to get access to the really useful information about the sources they pull in.

He could have left the back half of that post off and just been correct. But instead he decided to stick his foot right up his ass.

I wondered what the ven diagram between Alch and Will's stream communities are. This picture has told me that it's just a circle.

I'm glad that you are in such a healthy position with your political situation that you can call this transphobic. I'm going to stop wasting my energy with you, and go back to keeping my trans friends alive down here in the deep south of America.

You say number two is not supported, but your post was saying you were asking support to migrate your subscription, which is not changing your username. If there is no way to change the username on their end it would be easier to wait out the sub and make a new account.
comment in response to post
1. let the subscription run out on the old account and then subscribe on the new one. (I assume you are subbed yearly because monthly would not warrant this kind of misrepresentation) 2. get support to change the account username and keep using the old account.
comment in response to post
so instead of asking if they could change the username on an account, you are getting cross that they won't migrate subscription time between accounts? That's not a trans user policy, that's an anti-abuse policy that is getting in your way. There are 2 ways to handle this:

In what way? Because the money is money. That doesn't change. Your regional pricing might change, but that has nothing to do with being transgender.

@planetside2.bsky.social I have been doing a good bit of work trying to provide community support for playing the game through proton/moving win7 users to something still supported and I would be really disappointed to see that undone with a kernel level AC solution.

No, Rob. It's nothing like that. Your toddler is doing valuable scientific research. RFK doesn't know what those words mean.

You know what? If it's making establishment leadership angry, I think it might be the right thing to do. And until they start actually doing something, we should continue to do the stuff that makes them angry.
