That is an extreme over-reaction with an excessive use of lethal force. But also, critical support to that skater.

To any reporter or independent journalist reporting on the current protests because I've already seen the error made once: Tear gas, rubber bullets, and other riot control methods are not less than lethal. They are less lethal. They will still kill you if used carelessly or you just get unlucky.

My favorite thing about the recent news out of the Ukraine theater is that Ukraine allegedly used drone carrying drones. This means that of the two countries involved in this conflict, Ukraine is the only one with an operational aircraft carrier, despite not having a navy.

If you own a ring style camera from companies like Ring, Eufy, SimpliSafe, Arlo, any other company that stores your data in the cloud, that data will get accessed by the cops without your knowledge or consent, eventually.

What we need is a strong, non-partisan, and empowered watchdog organization with the ability to compel compliance with the emoluments cluase, divestiture requirements, and other non-conflict rules across the government from the courts to the presidency including removal from office.
