Oh for sure. Anything that threatens the stability of this administration is good news.

I like React, but I used to like it more. I feel like it’s getting a bit more complex to master with every new major. Or maybe I just know about the foot guns now and they were always there.

I also love the way I sometimes get a whole first page of AI generated or translated garbage when I search for something.
And broken links. And people posting a 5 minute video to show me where that thing I’m looking for in a game is.

This is pretty much the Russian propaganda narrative and it’s to no one’s surprise wildly inaccurate.

I’m in multiple highly specialised discords if that counts.
Also joined a freshly started MTB forum in the Invision community last year.
Small communities exist and thrive but you need to seek them out. They’re not going to come find you.

We’re seeing external/local styles being applied in opposite order. External is imported as uncompiled sass and internal are sass-modules.
Don’t have a repro at hand, work laptop didn’t go with me this holiday.

We have this exact issue in a remix app. Order reversed in production. We plan to fix it with css layers but not having bugs in the first place would also be nice 🤓

Implement everything in a docker container and just run that from the action! It’s like a yak inside a yak.

Good read, thanks!
Only having one functional hand today, thumb-scrolling on the phone would be more enjoyable if there wasn’t any horizontal scroll. I think the width of the header is to blame. I also 100% appreciate the irony of me running into that issue.

And here I was wondering if people were actually out in the woods tracking goats as a hobby.

I’m torn between relief and disappointed.

I even tried the "pay for no ads" function they were forced to implement in Norway and it's still just random engagement-traps. I just want a "friends" feed that actually works and doesn't just show me an endless wall of events. Once my parents leave I'm probably gone as well.

I disappointed the fuck out of a kid on a plane when they saw me coding and asked if I was making games.
I'm trying to make this checkbox animation look natural kid, it's the most exciting thing I've done in weeks.

I’m surprised Drake doesn’t have anyone around him to tell him how stupid this move looks. He’s begging to get dragged again.

I pop in monthly to decline all the recruiting chats.
Having an account with lots of connections proved quite valuable when I needed to get in touch with a few former colleagues who could be references on an application.

Is the game good? I must admit it's the first time I heard about it but considering which demographic is mad at it my interest has been piqued. Is it Assassin's Creed in space? 🤓

My dad gave up twitter after two days because he wasn't getting any interactions there. Thankfully he's not fash but that way of thinking still bothers me. Listening to others usually have more value than having others listen to you. It's simple math. Odds of someone else being smarter are massive.

Had an endurance go-kart race at one place I worked. Race went for 2 hours and we were 4 people on each car and swapped driver every something minutes.
Ignoring how much more fun a go-kart with properly warmed up tires are it was nice to get the occasional break from talking.

I just want to know why all those articles assume I want to use every platform for discussing politics. I don’t. I’m not going to argue with someone halfway across the globe about human rights when I could have an interactive newsletter.
It’s not an “echo chamber” to me, it’s just peaceful.

From following everyone on bsky.app/starter-pack...
Figured it was a good way to kickstart building a useful feed.
I can see how bots could use those packs for evil though.
