Their ideology centres around a hatred of things they perceive as ugly. Failing to look conventionally attractive is the same as being wrong, so the man cannot be making a correct statement if he isn't also shirtless and ripped.

I think the ideal strategy here would be to tepidly oppose the policy then back a compromise which is almost as bad.

We need to stop the flow of funds to the far right and level our political playing field before we become as corrupt as the US money circus. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/72...

"Fastest rate for a year." Since Labour has only been in office for a year, wouldn't that just mean it's recovering to the level it was at before they came in?

Voluntary castration for sex offenders is a liberal policy. Rehabilitation and all that. It makes them ten times less likely to reöffend.

So Starmer gives you all of the lying but none of the charisma? I suppose you could market that as an improvement from a certain perspective.

It's really us who are behind rather than them ahead.

Aren't most farmers millionaire land owners? Seems to me like this is just handing wads of cash to people who've no need for it. If you want food security, then stop subsidising meat production. If we start growing crops for people instead of animals, we could increase output and decrease land use.

As long as there's an economic incentive to put your own website on top, people will find a way to cheat the system and ruin it for everyone else. The old method was having a thousand Indians on 2¢ an hour writing articles crammed with keywords and Amazon affiliate links, but now they'll use AI.

It used to treat web pages like academic papers. When one page linked to another, that was a citation and increased the linked page's score. Worked great until people started making pages with thousands of links to boost their site in the algorithm. This was the start of SEO which now ruins search.

No.

They don't need to enact a policy that everyone hates and is bad for the country just because they said they would. Everyone knows Starmer is a liar, so he might as well break some promises for the good of the nation instead of just to chase popularity.

Keeping children in poverty is not a requirement for a successful government. The leader should serve his party and his nation, not the other way around. The PIP matter clearly isn't being handled appropriately. The fact they ever even considered it is a disgrace.

So your condemnation of MPs for voting in favour of an amendment to the King's speech that would include a commitment to reduce child poverty has nothing to do with child poverty? Joke on, mate.

"I don’t condemn anyone who stands for stopping child poverty" But a few moments before: "It’s collective responsibility, get with the programme or go it alone. I admire the discipline. They all came snivelling pack i think." Is this condemnation? Certainly very negative language.

Your willingness to condemn children to desperate poverty out of a blind worship of power disturbs me greatly. Even more so that you take pride in it. You should condemn those who wrote an objectionable speech, not those brave enough to come out against it.

Don't know if you remember, but Kid Starver removed the whip from MPs for voting to remove the two child benefit cap, which would have lifted 300,000 children out of poverty.

"So is life inside?" Perhaps when your MEPs are all lunatics, but otherwise no. Life is a lot easier inside Europe. I think you could probably sell people on every part of EU membership if you presented them individually.

Blair, Thatcher, and Cameron come to mind (not in that order).

This is a story about food shortages and a few years ago their prime minister got shot by a man protesting a fanatical murder cult that had embedded itself in their society.
