I randomly met George Wendt at Rocky Sullivan's in 1998 (the one on Lex, not the Red Hook location). He sat at the bar like a normal guy and was quiet, funny, and very nice. He said that he had not paid a bar tab in 15 years, because everyone wants to buy Norm a beer.
