And the current head of FEMA, David Richardson, reportedly was unaware of the US hurricane season as of June 2, 2025. This raised concerns about his preparedness for the upcoming storm season.

He hasn't been listening... Does he ever?

Absolutely! I live in a rural area and I don't even plant roses. I don't grow anything.

In restaurants and bars (and many other places), "86" means something is no longer available or that a customer is no longer welcome. It can refer to a dish that's sold out or a customer who is being asked to leave. They need to look things up and read. They might learn something.

He's broke and has decided that the $250,000 pension isn't enough to maintain the lifestyle he's accustomed to. He wants to make sure he has enough to live on after he's done destroying the country.

I wonder if she can spell DUMB?

I think they should all show up for the graduation ceremony then get up and walk out when she starts to speak.

That alone would tell me that he shouldn't be the president. It should convince everyone!

I agree with her. I've only seen 14 in my 74 years, and he's the worst... both times.

I wouldn't shake his hand either.

The problem is that we would then be stuck with Vance; just a different version of lunacy.

I had a TS/SCI clearance in the USAF. I typed messages that contained this kind of information. They were ALWAYS classified TOP SECRET. These people are idiots. They compromised the whole operation and could have killed everyone involved.
comment in response to post
To be honest, it's probably not CONFIDENTIAL... it's usually classified TOP SECRET!

That is exactly what they want. Keep the people illiterate and they will believe every lie you tell them.
comment in response to post
Hell yeah, they are intrusive. They need to know if a person can be trusted. I was in the USAF for 30 years, and I was investigated every five years to keep my clearance and my job.

Sadly, my Senators are Thom Tillis and Ted Budd, both Republicans who don't listen to their constituents.

Boycotting anything is not illegal! I wouldn't buy a Tesla, even if I could afford it.

Why weren't Boebert and MTG censured when they made asses of themselves when Biden spoke? Rules are rules and should apply to everyone.

That might be because their capital and the people in it are on their side instead of siding with the enemy.

It is a tradition in the military that when the country that military defends is at war, all military members wear combat uniforms. As Commander in Chief of the Ukraine military, he dresses to show support for the men and women who are doing the fighting. 🫡

Good for Zelensky! Standing up to Trump's attempt to steal from Ukraine! Trump and Vance are nothing but schoolyard bullies.

Done! 😜

He's just going to hand Ukraine back to Russia, and we all know that Putin won't stop there.

And I have recently refreshed my memory of the lyrics and melody of O Canada(originally from Detroit and learned it as a child) and will be singing along with the fans at hockey games (etc.), even televised.

Armored Teslas? For what? Military use? Where are they going to charge them in the middle of a desert or whatever combat zone they are in? STUPID!

I am a veteran, and I agree 100%. I thought that a prerequisite for being Director of National Intelligence was to be intelligent.

Unless he managed to change that, too, I wouldn't put it past him to try.
comment in response to post
Good idea. I'll be doing that today!
comment in response to post
Of course, he wants the American people to be uneducated. The uneducated become "followers," not "leaders."
comment in response to post
So what does that make Vance? Heinrich Himmler or Hermann Göring?
comment in response to post
I agree with your assessment of Trump, but we will survive--it won't be fun or easy, but we will survive and come out stronger for it.
comment in response to post
I agree! He doesn't give a damn about anyone except Donald J. Trump. How could anyone ever believe otherwise?
comment in response to post
I think the question is more like, "How quickly will he blow it?"
comment in response to post
Mine will be.

No matter who sent what, I'd much rather send money now than troops later when Putin moves on from Ukraine to NATO countries. B But then, with Trump in charge, he would likely just hand everything over to Putin since he doesn't like NATO.

Karma, don't fail us now. 😜
