Though making this school girl have shreddable clothes is, uh, a choice.

Ultimately though, when it comes to a game that took me..Jesus Christ, 230 hours to finish, apparently..gameplay is king, and what was the factor that kept me playing. Clearing castles and forts is just so much fun. Transplant this gameplay into a Tenchu mission-like structure and you have a winner.

No spoilers here, but the game feels like it wraps up Yasuke's story well, even if it's introduced and resolved a bit quickly, but leaves Naoe's story a bit more up in the air - no doubt to be resolved in future DLC where the definitive ending, same as Odyssey handled it.
Which is very frustrating.

Okay yeah, epilogue done, this game kinda ends on a wet fart of an ending that is pretty blatantly left open for the DLC expansions down the road, and I'm not a fan of that despite really liking the game.

Okay I've said that and have just randomly rolled credits after seemingly resolving Yasuke's arc, but kinda leaving Naoe's in the air.

Remember how cool it was to talk about games online when everyone seemed really excited and positive about them? Good times.

The shield is a great mechanic though, I think they did a good job making you feel like a very angry and very bad ass Captain America.
