I have been a loyal Democrat for nearly 52 years, I've donated, I've volunteered, and I've voted straight blue with just a few exceptions for all that time. Today that ends. A political party has to have a backbone, it has to have core convictions, the party has neither.

I'm running out of my traditional news sources. I dropped the NYT when they became Bush's cheer squad for invading Iraq. The LA Times has lost any independence in its editorial, the Bezos Times, really. ABC is afraid of it's own shadow, MSNBC is a repetitive joke. X, name says everything.
