For us older people Max just reminds us of Cinemax. So it was a pretty dumb move from the get go. Although sometimes HBO does feel a bit like the old “Skin-emax“. So maybe that’s what they were going for.

All this weather talk reminds me of the worst storm I ever experienced in Wellington - June 2013 when we lived in Lyall Bay and the rear window of my car was shattered. Inside I found glass, sand, water and seaweed.

Oh man. I once submitted a sample for IVF and the technician said I had the best sperm he’d seen in 7 years. I could have been a contender!
