Having watched his streams after his detainment, my impression is: a) he did this with journalistic intent. b) he understood the gravity of the situation, and weighed the risks against his intent to share what is happening. c) he did not endorse anyone watching repeat his actions.

I too fear that society is collapsing based on someone using a catchy title for their YouTube video. In a civil society, they would have articulated the thesis of the video in the title. Basically, it should be written like every economic newsletter, and not appeal to new userbases.

Right, that's a good thing, consumers like that.

In my perspective, the first issue is the exclusivity tactics and the virtue signaling. Epic is a publicly traded company, they want a monopoly, and attempted to use both anti-consumer exclusivity deals and "pro-consumer" lawsuits in order to undermine their competition. It's hipocrisy, and gross.

Honestly, this is a silly argument. AW2 happened to be funded by Epic, it wasn't "made possible" by Epic. If they didn't get sweeneybux, they would have been funded by someone else, or the scope of the game would have changed. You're over emphasizing the first/best offer they received.

2m sales is laughable. I can see why they're breaking from Epic, I'd actually like to play the game one of these days, but I won't buy it from EGS.

Personally, I love their whole discography, but I keep coming back to Texas and Jessica Rabbit.

The only cards I want to trade are blocked from trading. Useless feature.

It's $12 a month for me, since I'm on the grandfathered in price, and it's an extremely rare month that there isn't at least 1 game that I want or would play. So $12 a month for a random game I would buy anyways, +7 others ain't bad.

Same! I've been on that since the beginning, so I maintain it for the discount, and the worst feeling is when I already own the good games for that month.

Not gonna lie, I hate it. They aren't making great games anymore, they've pivoted movie shovelware.

Just FYI, you aren't "confronting" anyone. You aren't a real person to anyone. You're anonymously posting harassment. Just as easily as you ignore this and every other response you get, everyone is hitting reply and never thinking about you or your message again.
