But even if someone is severely disabled by autism, that shouldn’t matter. They are still a person who deserves respect, love and kindness. Not stigma and shame.

It’s not just about my son. We have a very high number of confirmed and assumed neurodivergent family members. We are not a drain on society, we have achieved a lot and we even go to the toilet by ourselves!

Seymour’s demolition of a good service that helped communities should not turn into another round of bashing families in poverty.

Good point. Design and consenting work for new terminals at Picton and Wellington. Early enabling work and construction had started. Interested to see final choice. If they do want to save $ they'll learn from/use prior work. Because it's not just about politics surely?

It is a hugely complex piece of legislation with too many grey areas. If the Govt is able to produce a workable solution, that simplifies calculations and does not disadvantage employees or employers, I will cheer and congratulate them.

Religion at its core is about gaining and keeping power and control for those at the centre of the religion at all cost. Faith & community, on the other hand, can be amazing and doesn't (& shouldn't) have to be couched in religion.
