I saw the submission guidelines a while ago and was weirded out by payment available to authors "on request." No idea they'd lied about their toc. Thanks for the heads up.

The first chapter book I ever read was Bunnicula. It set the tone.

It's not perfect by any means, but I really enjoy Countess Dracula with Ingrid Pitt. It it absurd and gorgeous to look at. But it only takes the broad outline from Bathori.

I returned Midnight Rooms to the library today and the librarian I handed it to was fascinated by the cover. I gave a strong recommendation for the book!

I've tried a few times and never gotten past the first chapter of The Shining. I cannot bring myself to spend a winter with that man.

This is stunning. Reminds me a little of Frank Frazetta.

I have been in line for 1 hour. Wishlist is paperback horror from the 70s/80s, classics with other people notes in them, DuMaurier, Shirley Jackson, old Hammer DVDs, obscure European folklore. Any 1 Ravenloft paperback would make the line worth it. But what I'll wind up with will be a surprise.
