Each year they've gone further. At the start of this year's playoffs no one had them making the ECF. Thibs out-coached everyone but Carlisle. And that was just a really bad matchup for them. I'm very surprised they fired him. I don't see these other coaches would do this well with this team.

Your wife pointed out you were wrong? That's a day that ends in "y" around here.

I hate generalizations in general.

Yeah. Because the NYPD took a poll before they assigned which cops would be out there. "If you would have stormed the capitol, raise your hand."

You must be here in Austin. That was one of the wildest things I've ever experienced.

I'm sure, given her popularity, that it's a smart business decision. Is there an equivalency to this from an author perspective?

Try posting a link to porn. That generally works.

I loved both teams all season and was prepared to root for the one that came out of this series. Then I encountered Knicks fans. I ain't rootin' for those effn a*holes.

Nobody needs another story about these two being related. Are there no original airlines left in the NBA? Or are sports journalists just lazy?

It's not a perfect system, but I prefer it to one where everyone is micro-managed to be a certain way in order to prevent any assholery.

Hart should be a Pacer.

Read the post. This season.

What are you talking about? That was his stat for the season. Over the course of an entire season players typically only get a handful of such opportunities.

In elementary school I wrote a short story about a vampire kid who was newly undead and didn't understand what it meant to be a vampire yet. I remember it because my teacher displayed it at our open house. It was the first time anyone told me i was good at something. Been writing ever since.

And got zero votes for clutch player award.

Mine came to check on me too. They couldn't tell whether It was a good scream or a bad one. It was a good one.

That's okay. Keep playing at the pace Indy wants. See where that gets you in the end.

Fiends is so afraid of getting in foul trouble that he's letting Turner do what he wants.

It's looking a lot like a mock-up for layout accidentally got printed.
comment in response to post
Their choice of words is interesting. We don't know "how this made it into print" suggests to me that they knew it existed but that it wasn't supposed to be printed. A mock-up, perhaps?

Oh no!

Jokic is exhausted already just before the half.

Balance is everything.

One of those, I see. You said he wasn't close to the family, I show you the quote that shows he is, then you act like you're disputing something else.

From the Jan. 2022 Sporting News: "Incredibly proud," Ujiri said when asked how Giannis' performance made him feel. "And he's a proud African. I know Greece is where he grew up but I've had the honour to be close to Giannis and his family – incredible family, incredible kid and works so hard."
comment in response to post
He's the one who discovered Giannis and put him on the NBA radar. He's also very close Rio the whole family.
comment in response to post
True. People forget that their GM is the whole reason Giannis is in the NBA in the first place.

Looks like D'onofrio from MIB.

I've learned that if you keep talking, you don't notice those annoying little whispers. Just so you know.

I don't think it's the "end-all-be-all" of life skills, I just think you're an idiot if you can't learn it. Like those morons who can't figure out a 20% tip without their phone.

I grabbed my leg and reacted similar when i tore my calf in a game ten years ago. I literally heard it rip.
comment in response to post
I mean, of all those guys, Giannis is definitely the biggest fish. With their assets why wouldn't they want to get the top guy on the market? Bonus: He brings the leadership, experience and fire they are missing.
comment in response to post
At least he's not crying about it the way the cavs and lakers do.
comment in response to post
Watch it. The AI people are going to come at you with "That's what we're trying to do."
comment in response to post
You clearly don't take it seriously now if you think Jokic hasn't deserved any of the ones he's win. That's just idiotic.

You can do everything perfect. Have a lead all night long. Sometimes Hali just happens anyway.
comment in response to post
You can diagnose and break down plays all night long. We all know what happened. Hali happened. Again.

Meanwhile, Spurs are giving Mitch Johnson just enough leash to ensure that every decent coach is off the market by the time they decide he's not the one.
comment in response to post
Disappointing. So many good, proven, coaches on the market right now.
comment in response to post
I'm sad that he's not going to do the big farewell tour so everyone could see him one last time, but I always knew he wouldn't. Is Taylor Jenkins already in town?

Clips desperately need a backup point guard. Can't play Harden for 45+ mins very many times.

The "Brunson Burner". Lol.
