The one on the bottom right. What is that?!

It’s still crowded!

I’m near there today. I think I’ll need to head over and get a snap or two. I need to keep you on your toes and claim that bridge! 😁

I used to have an original X100 years ago and loved it, but sold it to put towards funding a Sony A7R. The X100 was so much fun, which is why I’m considering Fuji.

Speaking to a few people the consensus seems to be, use Capture One, or a more recent version of Lightroom. Or shoot Jpeg, as Fuji Jpegs are nice and you can utilise the film effects.

In my case my current version of Lightroom is vintage. It won’t handle Fuji raw files. So I might have to give Capture One a play.

Basically what software do I need to use for Fuji raw files? I hear they’re a bit different and not all post processing software supports it.

But I had a think about it and the most likely thing I can think of if there’s a dispute with another person and the photographer, they can’t check the photos quickly onsite to confirm things.

I’ve been to a gig before and they wouldn’t let me take my film camera into the venue. They were fine with my Sony A7R II, but not my film camera. So I had to hand it into the bouncers if I wanted to enter the venue. They weren’t clear on why they didn’t allow analogue film cameras specifically.

I agree! A nice 35mm premium compact would have been more popular.

The Ektar is also more plastically and you get what you pay for with it. If the 17 was full 35mm would it have sold more? As half frame means more snaps, but lower resolution, which is a juxtaposition to a more premium price point.

For the tech in it, yes for the price, but there were elements in the camera that felt cheaper than the price point. I agree with the level 1 to 3 sentiment. You’ve also got to factor in the competition. They competing with Kodak Ektar which is significantly cheaper.

I agree too. It’s also an odd camera as it’s expensive, but also plasticy for the price point. I’ve had a play with one and couldn’t justify buying it.

How big will the raws be?! Assuming it’s like the GFX100S II it can be set to over 200MB per raw file.

HP5 is one of my faves. I’m looking forward to seeing your 6x6 goodness.

So you’re not going to do what people on my commute do and just play their music on their phone speaker for everyone to enjoy? Perhaps interspersed with a loud TikTok video?

I’ve got in date film too. It’s a case of finding the best film for what I want to shoot each time. I had a habit of buying film from certain places to show support too. 😅

After dispatching the goon with the contents of the package, Bond will then tidy the box up, noting how it’s recyclable and easy to do so.

Instead surely in his moment of need a package will be conveniently delivered to Bond at the exact time he needs it, because he subscribes to Prime and can set the delivery time.

I’ve had a problem with a laptop in the past where the USB sockets are rated differently too, and when docked to one socket wouldn’t supply full power, but when plugged into another would. It was in the super small print in the manual, but not obvious on physical inspection! 😅

To confirm have you also checked that the cable is rated for those loads?

At first glance I didn’t realise it was a 1995 one, I thought it was the new remakes because of its condition!

That M6 looks pristine! I hope he enjoys it!

If you get off at certain platforms keep an eye out for the “ghosts”.

I had an original X100 and always regretted selling it. If the rumours are true and they do make a GFX100RF if the price point is right I’d seriously consider it.
