When following the headlines fills me with despair, it's comforting to cuddle with a family member who remains blissfully unconcerned about fascism. That would be Trixie (a/k/a Bat-Mite).

Never believe a word 'Scottish' Labour says - especially the branch manager Anas Sarwar. They are simply a branch office of English Labour designed to fool the Scottish people in return for minor roles in London and the possibility of 'honours' and ermine robes. They have no power. #RedTories

My suggestions to the UK govt for rejuvenating economy. Must boost purchasing power of the bottom 50% of the population, cut taxes for the poor, eliminate tax perks of the rich. The Minister did not respond. Will the Chancellor change policy? Pls watch the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcgU...

Today, we have more income and wealth inequality than ever before. But the greed of the oligarchs never stops.  Now, in order to get huge tax breaks, they want to cut back on Social Security, Medicaid and veterans programs. Together we can stop them. We must stop them.

Labour have abandoned the working class and they have forgotten the unstoppable power of an organised working class. Join us and let's get organised. join.greenparty.org.uk

I'd like to bring this video to your attention. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyco... It's doing pretty significant numbers for what it is, so while I understand sharing it won't make a difference for those knee-deep in the cult of personality, I'd say it has a better-than-average chance of resonating.

Hey, I get it—I’m like Beetlejuice. Say my name three times, and I'll appear with our agenda to tackle inequality & speak the truth about migration. It’s been a huge benefit to this country, no matter how much these millionaires try & spin it. bit.ly/4iwEjmJ

People aren’t just showing up—they’re fired up. The energy is with progressive leaders, not the moderates or corporate puppets.

To revive economy UK govt must redistribute wealth. Bottom 50% of the population has 5% of wealth; bottom fifth has 0.5%. 1% have more than 70% population combined. Median wage is £29,604. Real average wage unchanged since 2008. Cut taxes on the bottom 50%. Tax wealth. End tax perks of the rich.

Share if you agree. 🇨🇦 🇲🇽

You should always ask, WHY? Why are we letting the Energy Companies rip us off? Why do Private Health Companies exist? Why are we allowing the richest to have so much money and pay no tax? Why?

Really appreciated meeting with organisers & volunteers of Worcester City Welcomes Refugees. People who are fleeing war, persecution and unimaginable suffering need both our compassion & support. Proud to see @worcestergreens.bsky.social working hard to lift their voices. #RefugeesWelcome

UK spent more money than most countries on Covid pandemic help; ended with more sickness, mental health problems, life expectancy drop. Looted in frauds, contracts for cronies. Poor, already struggling suffered most. Govts still fuelling inequalities, making the poor vulnerable.

As long as Terrorists Trump and Moscow Musk are in the White House I’m rooting for China 🤷

One HSBC banker paid £16.6m in 2024 (50% rise), £14.8m at Barclays after the UK govt ended banker bonus cap. Banks speculate with other people's money, gains privatised, public bailout if crashed, customer charges hiked. Govt says pay rises are inflationary but not when applied to bankers.

We can't have money for the homeless. We can't have money to support disabled people. We can't have money to insulate homes. We can't have money to support grassroots communities or culture or the arts. Yet there's always lots and lots of money for the arms trade.

The markets are crashing, we can't afford eggs anymore, the economy is shrinking, our allies are abandoning us... But we'll always have the Gulf of America.

A reminder for these times.

Only the weakest of people ask for thanks when lending a helping hand…

Absolutely @eddavey.libdems.org.uk

Bwahahaha. Mar-a-Lago was listed as "Kremlin Headquarters" for a little while on Google Maps. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We are siding with the enemy.

This is indeed brilliant

Labour has decided it's OK for customers to throw another £1bn to the parasitic water co's. To add to the £85bn they were paid and took, but didn't do their job. In fact allowed sewage to pollute precious places. Here Ewan McGaughy explains how to do it differently. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOnO...

Pentagon schools suspend library books for ‘compliance review’ under Trump orders. Entire books and chapters banned. Govt censoring books, limiting access. Soon, books will be burnt. McCarthyite witch-hunts next. US constitution has failed. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Is it possible to convey my love for all my Bluesky followers without taking you out to dinner or spending a single penny on flowers, chocolates or Valentine's Day cards? We're about to find out... (if you "like" this post) ♥️ 🥰💘🫶💟💝😻💚❣️😍❤️‍🔥💙👩‍❤️‍👨💛🖤👩‍❤️‍👩💟😘👨‍❤️‍👨💖💞 #HappyValentinesDay

More of this, America.

When is a fine not a fine? When it is levied on England's water companies. Aug 2024: OFWAT announced £168m fine on 3 companies. ZERO Paid. Dec 2024: £18m fine on Thames Water for paying unjustified dividends. ZERO Paid. Regulatory indulgence emboldens companies, encourages more abuses.
