Something tells me, if you took that money, divided into 5 and gave 5 teams to create smaller but interesting shows, they would probably return the investment much faster. The only thing that concerns me about it, it is too much, too much for just an animated show.

If I lived next to a very angry man who is prone to violence and anger, I would not throw rocks at him or poke with s stick. Neither would I go inside his home to hurt his family. The primitive rage with which Oct 7 attack happened tells everything about Palestinians, not their "murderers"

I have read almost every comment under this pic, 95% are mean. You people are a reason the country so divided. You are not angry at rapists, murders and child abusers, you are angry at peaceful people. Evil does not make you angry, people who are not like you do.
comment in response to post
Fears of bad people you mean? They are very real, and depending on the place you live, you might be in much more real danger than you think.
comment in response to post
Mean. It always makes me sad when people are so angry at the guns, but so blind (or perhaps pretensions) regarding a specific group that does 95% of all gun related accidents and murders. This is why a mediocre man keeps becoming a prez. these are not the people who commit most murders with guns

There is only one thing we should argue about illegal immigration, who exactly will financially support them? Because to me, a person that wants them to stay but does not intend to support them is like a very "generous" man who takes someone else's money and donates to people in need. That is theft

Charles Dickens had a lot of similar ideas regarding simple folk. I have read a couple of his books. It is good because they come from observing people rather than guessing.

For big players such as Sony and MS it is the only goal. Gaming industry would never evolve so quickly if it was not for the money. I think a far worse component is bringing politics into gaming, it wrecks quality much more.

"create opportunities for everyone." The problem is we have too many people who are unable to achieve anything. And in our cursed culture, the society wants to see them as victims rather than what they are. No kid left alone, right? That never worked, except for lowering standard for everyone

Not objective at all. How many countries Trump invaded? He signed the exit from Afghanistan, to the contrary. You may dislike the man but should stay objective or else you might be treated in the same manner

They cannot leave, honestly. It could be considered as a loss. Throughout its history, Russian rulers were not treated kindly when they lost wars. Putin can only end it if it looks like a victory, I am not sure there is an easy way to present the retreat.

Needs legal vs illegal guns. It has a very important cultural component that makes a huge difference. Most people who are legal gun owners do not buy to hurt some1. An illegal gun exists to do harm. The war must be on illegal firearms and their owners.

If I removed every gun in America and did not do anything to the hands holding them, the hands would keep hurting and killing people. I hear it worked well for UK. I also hear knives are very popular there. It is a lie. This is where it is a problem for me. Evil people must be isolated.

It got me excited till I read actors names. Wtf hwood, give some other actors a chance. And I cannot be the one to think that Zendaya is just a weak actress.

If there is a limited availability, then probably yes. Our HC is one of the most expensive in the world. You cannot just give something without finding where to take it. Obama's care took a bit from wealthier and gave a bit to poorer. You will have to take it from somewhere.

Speaking of, I am glad to see they are finally dealing with shoplifter in Cali. If only businessmen who left because of it could be brought back.

Was it really better under the old management? Surely, some things would not pass as they do today. But it would be a lie to deny they would ban and silence people they disagreed with, people on the other side of political spectrum. Better like this than how it was before.

How the heck else do you protect your nation from someone who in the last 50 years never stopped carrying terror attacks? Speak nicely to them? Ask not to? The biggest insincerity Palestine supporters practice is not accepting that it is ruled by terrorist organization.
comment in response to post
Would you be honest enough to accept that Palestinians would be perfectly safe today, in their homes, if Oct 7 attack did not happen? IDF looks on them as feral animals, I can understand why.

Cheaters for me. I do not mind much better players beating me. But after I started to spectate in few of the games I played at the time, I lost faith. There is 0 fun playing with a cheater. MP is the best video gaming ever created. And cheaters was the worst.

We should consider different possibilities. No, I know, medicine was not so good back then. But we introduced a dozen of drugs, food additives etc since then. It would be arrogant to think something would not be increasing the chances of autism. Arrogance is not a friend of a science man

The statement implies Republicans do not approve those things, not accurate.

It only works till you can see how many people can become something like a surgeon. When I was in college, I never thought of myself as a very smart guy. Yet the amount of people who could not pass even those entry level classes was staggering. There are people who cannot get complex things

Maybe it had something to do with that time when Google decided not to use their don't be evil motto

Ah yes, the newspaper that always has the most ridiculous titles

Was it not the author who predicted religions will be obsolete in the future in one of his books? He was wrong. He is wrong on his level in his personal scope. People need something to believe in, including those who think they do not.

One thing I would like for people who endorse universal HC to be honest about the downsides as well. If we ever to implement it, it should be clear what we are to expect.

When the government tells us we can no longer borrow and announces that we are bankrupts, well you know the rest. You and I have to have courage to look forward. There is the end with this insane borrowing. Will you look me in the eyes and tell we should keep borrowing and not think about the end?

Musk got his position a few months ago. How could he be so powerful compared to people who had friends and connections in the government for generations? Take Clinton family for example. They have generations of people getting into government again and again. You are looking in the wrong direction
comment in response to post
I respect Musk, but I think it is almost certain that he has a decent amount of sympathy for Putin. It does not mean money involved, just one man with over 100 billion dollars respecting another of his kind.

He created huge number of new jobs. What creates a person who comes illegally, does not learn English, does not look for a job, and spends the rest of their life riding on taxpayers' backs? We must stop using term "immigrant" for them all, they are not the same.

What is your opinion regarding repeating history and "experts" predicting inevitable catastrophe time after time, and failing every time? Should we not learn from those, and be more skeptical?

What if you equally disliked both of them? I do not dislike them equally, but my rational knowledge of their negative sides was enough for me to not care to vote. As a rational person, I promise you that the next 4 years will be not much different from the last 4
comment in response to post
If you asked people why they voted, you could realize you are wrong. This is the advantage of being neutral politically, you can look at the people and see not only their ballot, but their fears and needs. But I guess it is true for both sides. Trump is not the cause, he is an effect.

What do you think happens when we cannot even maintain interest on our giant 30t+ debt? Budget cuts, kids, disabled, everybody. And then you and me will pay double the tax without making a penny more. We need to stop pointing fingers at people like Musk, and start talking about the problem.
comment in response to post
Or the other way around. People forget that oppression and hurting others goes both ways. So, when I meet someone who points at me and I am the problem, I start to doubt who their real problem is.

I do not remember Soros being in the government.

The old Twitter you mean? Because the amount of censorship with the old management was ridiculous. Surely, it has a lot of unpleasant people now, but they are people who also have the right to voice their thoughts. Because I think something is wrong does not mean to needs to be cencored.

Should not have pardoned his pervy son. Now Trump has a perfect excuse to do so
comment in response to post
You would not if that was your father. This is the thing with modern "good" people. They are ready to do a sacrifice, that is they are ready to sacrifice someone else. That is not goodness, that is same old corrupt human nature.

Drones will solve this problem. Smaller drones that can hang in the air 24/7 and bigger one quickly flying where the fire starts and putting them down. Fire resistant robots could be dropped as well. This is what companies like the one Musk owns should work on.

I have a dream about this game. I would like much bigger battles to mimic real size battles that happened in the past. Something like 5k people limit. It would be totally epic.

No true. Even with every regulation dropped, we will never have such disregard to nature as a country struggling to keep its empire status would

But it is in our modern culture, I mean desire to erase unpleasant parts pertaining to barbaric customs many primitive nations and tribes practiced. I want to know it all. This is my problem with modern movies depicting old times too. Old outfits; LA feel.

People on both sides like to pick the least educated to show their own superiority. It is not nice, it shows your own need to rise above others. If you asked a normal person about it, their list of books or rather values would be drastically different and well explained why.

What is the point? The possibilities are endless once you reach this place. It is the same thing with taxes and rich people. The richer you get, the more options to not pay there are

I wish our culture was not promoting obesity. I look in disgust at those posters with obese women glorifying unhealthy lifestyle. It is very close to evil because it literally encourages millions of women to keep this way rather than live a healthy life with good diet and exercise.

The most damaging thing during covid was hands down, closing businesses. A lot of small businesses never opened again. Let this be a lesson to our government, so that the next time China creates another "wonder" we do everything to avoid shut down.
