Take a break. Move away from the discourse for a bit. Remember why you liked it and then see if it's still for you. Its a hobby, it's not a job. You have no commitment to any product or company other than what you want to have. I'vewalked away before and came back when something interested me

Get it checked dude. I suffered for years before I had a MRI and got surgery to get it fixed, if I had got it checked earlier I might have not had some possible permanent damage. - unless you're in the US, then I guess get a remortgage?

or the "console/computer"  war between Commodore and Atari.  I'd love to hear some  introspection on the Oliver Twins or the work of the Bitmap Brothers Codemasters or Psygnosis,  there are  some rich stories there which tends to get overlooked by the larger American led machine.  3/3

a Commodore 64, Amstrad, Amiga 500 and ZX Spectrum and I think there is a great story to be told to the main W.C. audience who perhaps has no idea about playing games on cassette tapes,  having competition on who could make the best game intro movies (it would take an age to load on floppy discs)2/3

Is there anyone in W.C. who play retro games or remembers / researched the UK video game scene in the 80s and early nineties?  We didn't have the arcade scene that was in the US but then we didn't have the great crash either, Hardly anyone had the NES or Master System, but loads of people had 1/3
