Nothing. The National Guard is not the enemy.

And then he got the celebrity treatment from Stephen A Smith.

Nuzzi is what my grandmother would’ve called an “adventuress.”

Vance is resorting to the oldest Jim Crow trick in the book: accusing advocates for justice and due process of being “(N-word) lovers.”

The right position is blame both. We've learned our Constitution is anything but tight. It is not a guardrail, not if congressional majorities decide to step back and let the Executive Branch take power away from them. Fortunately, the GOP's passivity is illegal and can be challenged in court.

It’s going to result in plants being built here that will not employ humans. So your “working man’s friend” pose is bullshit.

Your timing is ridiculously bad.

It means "Republicans are always good for the economy." 🤪

Do you have any science to back up your elevation of Gaza to the levels of immigration and inflation as reasons why the D’s lost? Certainly the left’s false & reckless “genocide Joe” campaign hurt. Are you looking for a gold star?

If you’re a @GOP who can’t stand up for Hegseth in his time of utter failure and humiliation, Musk will destroy your career no matter how much money it takes.
comment in response to post
And any Republican critical of Pete Hegseth’s drunken mismanagement of national security will be primaried. And Democrats will be arrested. Jeffrey Goldberg is a dead man walking. Republicans will go to the mat for their DUI “warfighter.”

How about let’s be serious? Admire them both. But MAGA beats a Democratic Party led by Bernie & AOC 60-40 or worse.
comment in response to post
MAGA can’t believe their luck that the left is this dumb. But don’t get too excited, Marjorie Taylor Greene. The Left is the ultimate gang that couldn’t shoot straight.
comment in response to post
You mean like Jill Stein? Sounds like a great plan to make MAGA even more powerful. Was the entire Left dropped on their head?

There is no Democratic 'messaging of capitulation.' It's notable that you provide no link to any such 'messaging.' The continual slander of the Democratic party with false accusations is a big favor to Trump now, and in 2026. It's this year's "genocide Joe."

Why should the Democratic Party care about how it is perceived in a poll now? Of course their members dislike them -- we lost! The "fight" thing is seriously overrated. America wants to hear from Trump and Musk's victims, not from Democratic spokespersons. The Dems' time is coming, but not now.

Please stop blowing up Teslas. Don't go to prison for Elon Musk.

Was it always understood that if you were opposed to DEI it meant you wanted to erase all references to all achievements by Blacks, Latino, Women & LGBTQ+ persons LIKE THEY NEVER HAPPENED? Is DEI an excuse to memory-hole all non-white, non-male successes? Is this what Republicans actually wanted?

That’s the thing about traps. They aren’t obvious.
comment in response to post
Because at some point, the truth needs to be understood about the Dems and the CR. A hero stands alone to fight for what's right against an uncomprehending crowd. That's Schumer, you guys. That shutdown was a huge fucking trap. Most Dems fell for it. Thankfully, not all.
comment in response to post
But Schumer was right. The shutdown was a trap. Musk & Trump hoped Dems would be angry-slash-stupid enough to shut down the government & give them complete control of what was kept open as "essential" & what they could shut down, and furlough workers, as "nonessential." Sorry but Chuck was a hero.
comment in response to post
Brian you're admitting Schumer was right and yet continue to criticize him. That's not helpful. I agree, we need fighters. But it's divisive slander to say Schumer's decision was to "cave." The fight you want has to be taken to the GOP. But what we've got is Dems fighting each other. Make it stop.

There was a lot of amnesia, and a lot of false equivalences. I love Joe Biden but as he aged, his speaking problems undermined his leadership. The POTUS is a king, in some respects, in that voters want to look up to them. Biden seemed too frail. 100 days wasn't long enough to sell Harris, I guess.

Huh? Stereotyping?

Your confusion comes from mixing up social media and real life, and mistakenly believing left-wing social media trolls are participants in Democratic politics. If dumping Schumer was a real movement inside the Democratic Party, there would be candidates.
