I don’t hate the Gittens move considering we spent 60m on Neto 60+ on Mudryk, and similar money on kids from Brazil it would probably up there with Noni as one of our better winger signings

Barcola I just feel like with the emergence of Doue and the signing of Kvara he just won’t be a starter for PSG and Chelsea have a big LW sized hole with his name on it.

I’ve never understood sportwashing. I love watching PSG and their players, but it’s never made me like Qatar more or want to visit. I’m not saying the concept is wrong, I just don’t get how owning a club in Paris changes anyone’s view of Qatar.

I don’t know why football clubs don’t prioritise specialist coaches because they add so much value and they are way cheaper than players.

I think Mhueka needs a loan next year so we can really find out what he is in men’s football cause I don’t see him getting Prem or UCL minutes for us

Cech, Walker, Terry, Ferdinand, Cole, Rodri, De Bruyne, Lampard, Salah, Kane, Giggs (Take note I was born in 2003 so I never saw Shearer play at his peak for e.g)

I agree with you but, Braun has been a fantastic point of attack defender this playoffs and has shown to be a really good low usage high impact role player and I just don’t think anyone wants MPJ this is probably the lowest his stock has been in his career.

Spoke too soon, Dort was one of the Thunder’s best players in the 4th 😂

According to the stats it was the right play but with Jokic off the floor and Denver having no timeouts the players have to take responsibility and not foul

As a winger?

This doesn’t mean I don’t think the SD’s also have to be blamed because the floor of this team sucks. Back in the days any manger(ie Avram Grant, Di Matteo) could come in not have a clue about setting up a football team and we would still make a champions league final because the squad was good.

I worry about the low shot volume and the very high-quality shots he gets. If he comes to the Prem: 1. What happens if the shot volume goes even lower? 2. What happens if the shot quality goes down? Both are things that typically happen to strikers coming from weaker leagues.

Fire whichever SD signed Neto, Felix and Mudryk keep the other one (if it’s both of them sack both)

I’ll also be interested to see what happens to Gittens numbers if makes a move to the prem this summer

Jadon Sancho, Timo Werner and now Nkunku someone needs to do a study on non-Haaland Bundesliga attackers to see exactly what’s going on with these guys why they can’t make the step up.

Seems unlikely because we already have Amougou, Paez and Sarr who are probably going on loan there. I see him more in the 4/5th choice midfield role depending on Lavia’s fitness

I hope a lot of that transfer fee is based on performance

Excited for the update

I feel like over the next year Noni is gonna make a leap all of his numbers feel like somebody who’s about to blowup

Good game hopefully OKC has Chet back for the game next week so we can match up with their bigs

Lavia: Overpay and consistently injured but extremely good for someone his age Felix: Not an F cause I think he is flawed but can be useful occasionally Neto: Overpay, and I don’t think he’s good Ugochukwu: has potential wasn’t a big fee and could be a really useful squad player in the future

I’ll explain some of my most controversial ones: Disasi: most consistent CB last season(fitness and form), is a versatile and has been linked to Newcastle so there’s a market for him to sell to Mudryk: Hasn’t been banned yet if he gets banned it’s a F

I hope not, if Maresca is anything worth his money at the very least Josh, Felix, Nkunku and Guiu should start the next game

I know this sounds blasphemous but palmer should’ve came off, they were doubling up our wingers and none of them bar Neto was getting any joy I felt like felix’s knack to just get shots out of nothing could’ve been useful
comment in response to post
Definitely, and then just give those minutes to Acheampong

Kiano Dyer also deserves a mention scored the first goal and controlled the midfield basically the whole game in day where Chelsea dominated possession. In this game he displayed everything passing, defensive work and dribbling everything you want in a midfielder essentially.

Standouts of the game for me: Shim Mheuka, Aguero type of striker stocky build but good in tight spaces still only 17! You can see why Chelsea have already given him debut at such a young age. What really impressed me today was his aerial ability not something you see often in young strikers.
