As a teenager in the mid 2000s, there was always random (often unprovoked) violence between groups in boring towns. I’m wondering if teens these days are spending time doing positive things (gym) etc rather than drinking in parks which seemed to be the norm then. Online gaming these days too.

IHTIDFILWY is great, so is Grapefruit Moon, but Martha is my favourite on that album. The Tom Waits song which hit me the hardest though is I Don’t Wanna Grow Up. The feelings it invokes seem to change every few years as more and more grey hairs appear and aches last a little longer!

20 odd years ago when I saw them in London, they had Trivium as support who got absolutely soaked by beer/piss missiles. Relentless hate from the crowd. Bruce bollocked everybody after that, fair enough.
