And the Toronto Maple Leafs (haven't won a cup since 1967). Fml.

At least it wasn't wide right...

Death, taxes, and being disappointed by the Buffalo Bills...

Bills missing a field goal... Wide right. Yeah. I know...

I don't know how much more of this game I can take...

I'm gonna keep all that hope at arm's length for now.

Chiefs again... Ffs.

They're giving me hope... Hope just makes me mad at this point; so used to it being crushed. If we actually win... I won't know how to feel.

I thought the game was lost... But that might just be the Evertonian in me.

Minnesota so hard to watch... Just trying to help.

It's not too late...

This would be hard to watch from a Minnesota fan perspective. Not too late to switch to Buffalo.

The Canadian gov't subsidizes the oil industry to the tune of billions per year. It could be argued that Canadian taxpayers are subsidizing the US economy...

And their offense couldnt do anything thereafter... I'd feel bad for them if it weren't for those pants.

They'll get your hopes up, then crash out of the playoffs... Or worse, lose a superbowl with a missed field goal
comment in response to

I think you'd feel more at home supporting buffalo... It's a very familiar feeling when they inevitably disappoint
comment in response to

Ok then... I thought I was clear that I was agreeing with you. You're not the only one I was writing to... I was only trying to give an outsider perspective. Your election has global consequences. your president talking about invading my country. But I'll shut up. Good luck with your rights.

Certainly not free to get sick... Or be a woman... Or protest, at least when the next guy takes over. And you're really not free to make informed decisions either... Your news is entertainment, not news. Despite all that, the world (for the most part) really does like you and is hoping you'll be ok.

I know you are. I was changing the subject slightly from racism to you guys suck in general... I don't think Americans realize how the rest of the world sees you. The only metric where you are actually #1 is shouting really loud about freedom. And you're really not all that free...

This would be our game if we had players who could find the back of the net...

You guys thought you won the cold war... Russia has destroyed your republic with social media. They convinced you to destroy it yourselves... And it worked because you let republicans gut your education system.

Canada doesn't want statehood. We have healthcare... We don't have to worry about bankruptcy if we get sick. And we can send our kids to school knowing they won't be gunned down.

Your president elect is threatening war. It is a safe bet the world is preparing for it. You voted away your republic... Now the world has to deal with the consequence. American exceptionalism indeed...
comment in response to

And for the record... I'm not saying you couldn't still win, but it will cost you many many lives to take Canada. That's some seriously expensive bacon you dummies voted for... Ffs

I keep saying this... But nobody seems to care. Trump wants to leave NATO, but Canada certainly isn't. If you trigger article 5 you're at war with much of the developed world. I don't think you want that. You might be able to bully Panama, but I wouldn't venture north.
comment in response to

Attacking Canada isn't such a good idea.
comment in response to

US may be leaving NATO, but Canada isn't. Hope you're ready for a fight if you trigger article 5.

Is it really unprecedented if it's the last hospital? There seems to be quite a lot of precedent...

Sorry, wouldn't have responded to you if I had realized you were a paid troll. Nobody that stupid... Climate leader... Lol

I'm hoping there will be no federal election until Trump has been in power for a while... I want Canadians to see how bad things are under Trump so they don't vote for Trump lite here.
comment in response to

Like honestly, I'm in your corner... But if you bring down the govt you will forever be the guy who handed poilievre the keys to power...
comment in response to
post
If you have any hope of defeating the liberals and the conservatives you have to know you have to delay an election for as long as possible. People need to see how bad things are going to get south of the border when the Fanta Führer takes over. Defeat the govt now and conservatives win.
comment in response to
post
Are you too young to remember the Harper years? The conservatives have no plan. All they have are slogans. The liberals lost me at election reform. But they're better than the prospect of a poilievre gov't. And yes, voting conservative is stupid.
comment in response to
post
You know Canadians are going to hand the election to poilievre. Right? They're too stupid. I would love to vote for NDP. But if you're handing power to the conservatives then you lose my vote forever

I dunno, they are making this kid seem pretty badass. Maybe they secretly want more people to take out healthcare CEOs...
(Not an endorsement of killing the people that profit off of letting other people die slowly due to lack of treatment. 100% in not an endorsement. Shouldn't need to say that).

Wait... They're at home? That's their first choice colour? Oh god

Haha, it is... I think it's called safety green or something. Their MLS club wears the same colour occasionally. Truly hideous.

All these people that said horrible things about him are his tools. Right now he doesn't care what they said. He may punished them too, but in the future when he has gotten what he wants.
comment in response to

People still trying to shame him thinking it will affect his choices. It won't. There is no shame. All that matters is winning. Winning means destroying the thing that almost sent him to prison, the United States of America. He doesn't want to be president. He wants to stay out of jail and punish.
comment in response to
post
He doesn't care. I don't know why people don't understand this. He isn't trying to govern. America tried to punish him for his actions. He's big mad. He is hitting back. He's destroying the institutions that attempted to hold him accountable. Accept this, and maybe you can preserve the republic

No, the world feels sorry for you. One term was a fluke and the world laughed. That wore off quickly during the pandemic. Now you've chosen to give him the nuclear codes again and he's about to destabilize (such as it is) the whole world.
Fix your education system so it doesn't happen again. Please
