It’s not a criminal case, it’s a civil lawsuit. No pardon available.

Bored talking about what? The NFL draft? Then don’t talk about it. As my dad used to say, “Being quiet is always an option.”

Absolute all-time favorite of mine. Gorgeous, uplifting and soothing.
And as a bonus, it's one of the best-sounding records I've every owned (I have only the original vinyl, which still sounds great--never heard a CD or remastered version).

I so love that album.

Looking forward to the other 9. Sandinista, for all its faults and overreaching, is a truly great album.

I followed this account. Now I just have to find Pictures of Lily and Pictures of Matchstick Men to complete the set.

Just got 8 follows from accounts that were identical except for the stock photo avatar and the names, all of which were spelling variations on “Liz,” such as “Lyyz” and “Lizzz.” Fun.

Tonight my wife took me shopping for Christmas. My haul: three pairs of dress slacks, six pairs of socks (ooooh), undershirts and pajamas. Be still, my heart. I love her so much.

I know several but I’m not sure if they’re on Bluesky. Great idea, I’ll look into it.

Thanks for the tip. Sometimes in my haste, I forget. Is there any way to add alt text to an image after it’s posted?

Voted today on Bell County. Moderate lines. Heavily Republican area, but lots of Democrats on the ballot for local races.

Why didn’t we hear about this five years ago when it happened?

We had one like that, too. We'd find him standing on the bathroom sink, licking away at the bar of soap in the dish. We tried to discourage it, but it didn't seem to do him any harm, so we just let it go.

Lifelong LSU fan here. I am heartily sick of 1959 LSU Ole Miss nostalgia, mainly because I lived through the Billy Cannon counterfeiting thing in the 80s. Last night’s game was epic and it had zero to do with 60+ year old games.

Cats know how to take care of each other. This picture is from 6 years ago. Bullseye, the large gray and white cat, was nearing the end of his life (lung cancer). Kali, the calico, never left his side. She cuddled with him and groomed him. Two days after I took this photo, Bullseye died.

When it premiered I was playing in the back yard and my mother came to the door and said, “That space show you want to see is on!”
