Sad to find a woman who joined bluesky today and who is a friend of a really nice bloke on here has blocked me. No idea why, I've never interacted with her, but did follow her because she knows the nice bloke. I was follower number 5.

@wendybartter.bsky.social Welcome to Bluesky, Wendy. This one’s for you! #DerbyPeregrines #Birds

Our newest arrival. His name is Big T He's an older boy who was left to fend for himself. We'll do everything we can to save him. Whatever happens he will know nothing but love from here on in ❤️

A walk round the park has been postponed as there's more rain. Dammit. Can't even mow my neighbour's as planned. Found to my horror that the 3 fab books from Tom Cox are difficult to read due to font size and because my eyesight is so crap. Large square magnifying glass needed. Buggeration.

Went down town to have a look at the Peregrines through the super binoculars on Cathedral Green...well worth it. It made me realise just how crap my eyesight is and wish that I could get specs to give me the clarity I got through the binos. Lovely to chat with some of the people there.

Because I forgot to take a lipstick on holiday with me I went out and bought one whilst away. Do you think I can find that very nice lipstick today? No. Not in any of the handbags I've used since, nor in the van, nor in any pockets. I'm SO annoyed. My little radio has gone awol too. I'm losing it.

I'm reading about this village with the same warped enthusiasm I usually have for Midsomer Murders. www-dailymail-co-uk.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.dail...

It was always predictable that the richest man in the world would fall out with the supposedly most powerful man in the world. But I didn’t think Musk’s break with President Trump would happen so fast, or be so excruciatingly embarrassing.

in my patio garden, there are jays, magpies, bluetits, coaltits, squirrels, field mice and sometimes rats. it's London, I am relaxed about it. they never try to get into the house. I have one (1) bird feeder stuck onto a window, with no poles or anything climbable leading to it. nonetheless...

Just re-watched Freddie Flintoff and his team of lads from Preston (one's from Blackpool) on their cricketing tour of India, part 2. I watched series 1 when he found these lads, worked with them, coached them, then series 2 when he took them to play against various local teams around Kolcata.

In just 130 days, Elon... -Secured even more contracts -Derailed at least 40 fed investigations of his corporations -Gutted agencies that regulate his business -Installed loyalists throughout the government Elon has fallen out with Trump, but he got exactly what he wanted.

Vindictive retribution is what those who consider themselves to be the best, the most worthy, the most important will do. They will not forgive nor forget, they will be focused on punishments for the perceived slights they've had from someone who has not shown them total loyalty and obeisance.

"Looking forward to the interviews with the female boxers who were cheated out of medals and hearing about THEIR 'immeasurable psychological damage' as well as physical as well of course." Posted by Tracey Edwards MBE. Papers are full of HIS 'immeasurable psychological damage' of course...
