Personally, I can't stand Rand Paul, but that's absurd. Every other member of Congress is invited, but he was specifically DISinvited? Someone like Jasmine Crockett should take him as her date. That would serve Trump right.

Trump probably will. I've heard people say that musicals are the only theater Trump enjoys (he loves Cats, for instance), but he's not interested in the story, only the music. I doubt he understands most plays, especially this one. French history? He doesn't know American history.

I truly believe some elders have no sense of themselves outside of their profession. Eleanor Holmes Norton has been divorced since before she went to Congress. One of her two adult children has Downs Syndrome. She probably does nothing but work & can't imagine her life being home alone. TERM LIMITS!

Thanks to Nevada voters for reelecting Sen. Rosen. She's doing a good job for them. BTW, did you know Trump's ballyhooed "No Tax on Tips" only applies to CASH tips? When you put your dinner on a credit card, the waitstaff pays tax on that tip. Remember that when you go to Las Vegas.

Hard for people who have never been west of the Mississippi to understand what Western states are like. When the band I used to work for played in Utah, they called from their home in New Jersey to say, "Hey, we have a gig in Park City, why don't you drive up?" I live in Tucson, AZ, 781 miles away.

Wow, Vance is really kissing up to the red states. Do you think he cares that an estimated 35,475 Ohioans died in the Civil War, including those killed in action & those who succumbed to wounds or disease? Also, nearly 30,000 Ohioans were left partially or totally disabled fighting for the Union.

I went to a poetry reading at the University of Arizona's Poetry Library Building one night recently and it was PACKED. Standing room only and most of audience was older, not obvious students. I took a neighbor and she wants to go back, too.

They didn’t believe this articulate and respectful Man was “really” with CNN.
