12/18 The irony: Leo gave Trump the 3 Supreme Court justices who granted him "absolute immunity" that enabled his prosecution evasion in 2024. John Yoo admitted: "If it weren't for Federalist Society judges, he would be in jail right now." Now Trump bites the hand that freed him.

The facility where she died did not have a morgue so I had to have a funeral home pick her up within four hours.

I managed to keep my mom’s body from being embalmed, but that meant cremation (no visitation allowed). Finding a company to do anything else and arranging transportation for her body was waaay beyond me.

These are excellent ideas, but I would recommend read watching and either setting it up in advance or at least leaving detailed instructions (name of company who would do it included). Being the bereaved next of kin and trying to sort out less traditional options is difficult to impossible.
