I'm just gonna say it: if this is about his stance on RFK and people derisively calling him a former heroin addict, this is a massive mischaracterization of his stance. The problem with RFK is not that he's a former addict. Lots of former addicts are good people. The problem is he's an asshole.

Sometimes when I see parents struggling with their kids I just want to tell them "Hey, I know this is hard but I was a terrible child with terrible behavior and now I'm a happily married adult with a Master's degree and a good job. It'll be ok, I promise." Moms: it'll be ok, I promise.
