When I'm a vendor I try to have as many options for payment as possible. Why make it harder than necessary? Cash seems like a no brainer, and why have USD prices at a CAD event?

I can understand it on a certain level. People working there received death threats, and there were very real concerns about arson. I heard there were even a couple of assaults among those being generally unruly. Safety is a concern but overall... bleh.

I definitely understand that, but I feel like this just leads to people being incredibly unhappy imo. No one wants to be disliked but it's necessary to face that and try to become comfortable with being disliked sometimes. Not everyone will like you no matter what. Better to be authentic.

I struggle with this all the time, especially when it comes to neural typical people. I don't understand why people can't just say what they mean and stand by what they believe. Why are they like this?

I feel like many neurotypical people are not interested in understanding others or having empathy for someone if they find them strange, but we are not only practiced, we are welcoming and understanding of other people, even neurotypicals when they are not towards us.
