If you are one of the handful of autistic people who do need assistance using RFK, Jr.'s face as a toilet, please let another autistic person know. We would be happy to help you.

A Whitehouse presidency would've been fun for journalists and historians, saying things like, "the policies of the Whitehouse White House"

The previously reported population of Gaza was 2.3 million, so if Trump's number is close to correct currently, the death toll is around 500,000, right?

For those who've ever been to small towns in the West, this movie was exceptionally adept at establishing Sense Of Place. Unlocked memories everywhere. I could even smell the cleaner used on the linoleum in the grocery store.

The things she doesn't say but intends to communicate to him clearly, + the things she can't say because she can't face, + the way she grasps that Ennis is Jack's great love... such an exquisite performance

There might be some who would consider labeling repeated acts of sexual harassment as "creative differences" to be an example of someone not being a good ally to women victimized in workplaces.

Baldoni's behavior as described in the legal complaint is SO manipulative, abusive, self-serving, obnoxious, and vengeful that it shows his allyship to be fake. (Read the actual document. It's breathtaking) Maybe you don't need a celebrity to spark your conversation. Try some other tactic.

I think the Baldoni news is not a good jumping off point for the conversation you want to have about genuine allies who make mistakes because he is not that. Please have that conversation, but not about Baldoni.

Oh, I think it was a lie, or, at the very least, a performance.

When we make explicit what doing wrong actually is, what consent and SA and SH are, no male allies can unknowingly cross lines. Consent-based sex education should be mandatory in schools.

To not be unintentionally harmful, boys and young men need to be taught: 1. What is and is not consent 2. How to accept "no" as a response 3. How to cope with rejection 4. How to handle overwhelming feelings, e.g. crushes 5. That females are full humans and not bodies or concepts.

I can't speak to your goals or ideals. Baldoni was not inadvertently doing harm while thinking he was helping. He was committing assault and seeking vengeance while preaching feminism. He was a false ally, not an ally who stumbled.

You are saying we should acknowledge his work as an ally. But his allyship was only talking, and promoting himself as an ally. It seems to me he was toxic the whole time.
comment in response to post
He was seen as a positive role model because that's how he kept advertising himself.

He literally, according to the article, kissed Blake without permission, admitted nonconsensual sexual activity to her, & did a misogynist smear campaign. If it's all true, his allyship is a hypocritical pose. He is Toxic Masculinity personified.

This. They'd rather run their stores with a skeleton crew. They think employees are the enemy of profits.
