I have been enjoying this series for a while so I recommend it as well

I will look into this more

If you’re looking for fantasy with Black boys at the center, Antoine Bandele is the gold standard. Trust me on this. TJ comes from a family of gifted diviners who is struggling to come into his own powers just in time to save the world, and the cosmos. bookshop.org/a/87137/9781...

honestly the only part of the Stardew valley life I could probably do is giving gifts to my friends over and over again

Not the official video but since I couldn’t invite all my Skousins to celebrate, here’s a Quick Look into what the day was like 💕

When I was a kid I was convinced they'd be at the same family reunion😂

Why she just watching and not putting the fire out girl save my house 😭🤦🏿‍♀️

A brief intermission from Dragon Tales to talk about some pi(e) 🧶🥧 #indieyarn

2 thirds done!! That's 39,800 stitches done, only 19,701 to go!! 🧶🧙 #crochet #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #wizard #mosaiccrochet #crochetsky #craftsky

The Oregon Trail? 🥴

In the year of our Lord 2025, this is what the disease spreaders brought back. Wash your doggone hands!!

Primal hunter is coming out this week… I can’t wait ( except I just started re-reading the unbound series by Nicoli Gonnella) I’m trying to figure out why I didn’t get book 2! #LitRPG

Ok I had to open your twitch coz that book title had me intrigued. Then I had to follow coz hitchhikers guide and stardew valley

It’s #MathArtMarch Day 2: On a Square Grid! Here is a cross stitched Hilbert Curve where the back working naturally forms the previous iteration Hilbert Curve because of the fractal nature 💗

Saw some people talking about getting into crochet - yay! I’m rubbish at most thing but I this is one thing I can help with! Just let me know if you need help getting started!

Angie Stone performed her last performance Friday night. Tragically she was killed Saturday morning when an 18 wheeler crashed into her van flipping it over 3 times. She was the only one to die in the crash. She was about 5 miles from her destination.May she RiP. My condolences to all who loved her.

I hope the trend of being wasteful & doing absurd things with food for the sake of content slows down.

Also me starting a new stardew valley file #gamer

Idk who needs to hear this but it’s on my heart It’s NEVERRRRRR too late to start. Start TODAY. Idc how old you are. As long as you’re living and breathing, you have what it takes to do it. Don’t ever limit yourself. Go for it. Start that new hobby ASAP!!!!

More of this please.

Currently back home in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 doing a teaching block at UZ. My walk back each evening through northern Harare passes jacaranda and other exotic trees, but pleased to see this Erythrina abysinnica, an honest indigenous African tree, holding its own.

Ngl, I be feeling real Angela Bassett-like when my younger coworkers find out I’m like 10+ years older than them. 🤭 #BlackSkyOver30

I created this book cover for a client who wrote an amazing Mystery Fiction Novel. “UNTOLD - Secrets Await” #Blackskyover30 #blackskyover40 #blacksky #writingcommunity #booksky #blackbooksky #writers #artsky

And there’s a tutorial- notice the straight edges I was talking about…

Thanks for the reminder - this book is in my read later list (and I can start now)

Great idea

🧶Have rather wanted a hand crank knitting mill for some time & today got the mitts on one, so lunch break was spent with squeaky acrylic yarn mastering a little ear warming twisted headband - now to fossick through the naturally dyed wool stash & make some colourful gift ones...

Have you stumbled upon the Tunisian crochet half double stitch? It’s the best: your sides stay bone straight- it looks almost like a knit stitch

🧶🤣 #knit

Wordcount for the new novel: 53,755. They’re not pretty words. But they existed where they didn’t before, and that’s enough.

I made it through -25 books a page

Autocorrect is nuts right now. I wrote “pranking” and it changed it to “pea king.” I don’t know anything about the line of succession in the Court of Legumes!

Listening to some podcast about the first contact between Europeans and aborigines and the Australian academic leads in with a land acknowledgment and I’m mainly like “ok, but isn’t that kind of implicit in the subject of the episode”?

Libraries are the quiet places where people heal through the power of language. I might be reading too much into this (pun intended) but in a world that often feels divided, libraries remind us of our shared humanity.

Howdy, friends! I've gotten a bunch of new folks following me, so I wanted to share a bit about myself 😊 I'm Steph, the #crossstitch designer behind Fine Frog Stitching. I'm a Mexican-American artist currently working out of Milwaukee. More down this thread 👇

Well folks, I took a break from my usual medium to create and share this very important cross stitch with you. "What The Duck" indeed. xoxo
