Some old church.

Love this Xmas present!

Still from my short film The Miracle. This is part of a time-lapse sequence with multiple reflections of clouds dramatically roiling by. All in 3D.

Holy shit, this is 100% accurate 😆

Off to my pals Dom and Angie's Xmas party where they host the GOOD PRESENT/BAD PRESENT game. I run my own version of the game after Xmas, so I appreciate the value in adding a bit extra to make the game more fun for everyone. So... how many are any good? 😃 And how many bad? 😕

I got some chilli powder up my nose. No, don't ask. The cure is... Butter. And it works! 😀

Some sound advice.

. Those were the days! I used to run a regular meet-up called 'The Z-Axis'. Huge fun (and a lot of work!) but times change...

. Just bought this. It's about how sound dominates life under the waves. Did you know the amount of salt in your blood is the same as it is out at sea? We carry the ocean around inside us, and pass a small chunk on from generation to generation.

Empire of Light

Hayward Gallery, 2019. (I think)

Can you guess which twat this was?

THREAD/ I did something similar during lockdown on the other place but it seems like a good time to do something similar on here. "What still survives in London from the Blitz?" is something I often get asked and is also something I try to cover in many of my guided walks around London.

'Sunny Days' is a painting of mine that adorns the cover of Guy Shrubsole's new book 'The Lie of the Land' which is a fasinating, timely, phenominally well researched & pertinent read. Good interview below from Guy on LBC. Thanks to @hedleythorne.bsky.social for his drone shot that I used as ref.

Excellent radio prog & podcast, and now an excellent book.

. London Air Ambulance in Trafalgar Square. Used for moving critically injured patients to hospital. Funded by charity, and entirely FREE!

. Where's Wally..? You may remember this location from the first Mission Impossible film.

Spotted in Schipol Airport 20 years ago. I kept seeing it there. And then one day, it was gone...
