Our real economy transformed. We became a "warehouse economy." The largest employers? Walmart and Amazon. We primarily store and sell goods made elsewhere, while our domestic production base hollowed out. 6/

Bloomberg reported a few days ago that Qualcomm's takeover interest in Intel is said to cool. Qualcomm “hasn’t identified large acquisition,” CEO said. Perhaps 18A has failed and Gelsinger was fired because of that. If so, Intel is toast. #intel #18A

20A was scrapped. The BIG question is - how is 18A doing? 18A was supposed to bring node leadership. Panther Lake processor (based on Intel's cutting edge 18A) was supposed to be released 2H/2025. Gelsinger was fired, so I would be worried about 18A. Intel is probably toast if 18A fails.
