Was just explaining about your adventures to my friend as we were coming back to Newhaven on the ferry from Dieppe after a couple of days in Rouen - not done the crossing since my interrailing days. It’s a shame the timings don’t really work for daytrips now.

I bought a 2nd-hand small car to drive when at home, & at roundabouts & junctions my view is usually blocked by enormous vehicles. They are so dangerous.
