Public service announcement for folks on TV and radio, and other folks publicly speaking: 1. It's "Strait of Hormuz", not "Straits of Hormuz". There's only one Strait of Hormuz. 2. Phonetic for Iran and Iraq: /ɪˈræn/ and /ɪˈræk/. Not /ˈaɪ.ræn/ and /ˈaɪ.ræk/. There's no /eye/ in "Iran" or "Iraq".

🧵News networks need to do much better vetting of its "experts" and their specific areas of expertise. A basic understanding of the military is also good. I just watched a "former U.S. deputy commander" (dep commander of what?) on BBC News say that U.S. B-2 bombers might have been assisted by F-117s.

This is an absolute betrayal of promises made by Congress to protect the people who protected American soldiers. A betrayal by people who think American greatness is based on half-assed military parades rather than being a credible ally to those that risked their lives for America.
