I witnessed the tail end of a someone getting attacked on Threads for what I thought was a very normal thing, so I'm here to ask... Is it not normal for people outside of Canada to specify white meat or dark meat when ordering chicken? The option is built right into the online ordering here.

Ukraine amazing Drone Attack destroying 40 of Russia's 120 long range bombers is pretty fantastic, and an important signal that Ukraine is still in the fight. They smuggled a fleet of drones deep into Russia hidden in trucks and train cars, and successfully attacked four Russian airfields.

I don't open the liquor cabinet often, but today I did to see if we have enough residual 2024 bourbon to make my Vanilla Peach Bourbon jam this summer (with Ontario Peaches, natch). Turns out I do, & it's being diligently guarded by Snoop and The Elf. (I might still try a Canadian alternative.)

This made me cry. It's absolutely tragic and heart-wrenching to watch, but watch it anyway. We all need to bear witness to these atrocities. I don't live in the US and I never plan to, but we have to make sure everyone knows what's happening there.

Punks do not like Nazis, & rightly so. Why do Nazis always think the punk scene is on their side? There's a whole song called "Nazi Punks Fuck Off". Security saved this guy from a richly-deserved shit-kicking. The crowd got a few knocks in tho. I don't condone violence, but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Nazis right?
