Advice-wise, this is like saying “you gotta add hot sauce to your food, so it isn’t bland.” It’s sometimes true, but only when the dish is bland to begin with. One of THE most riveting episodes in TV history is a cartoon horse standing and speaking at a funeral, with zero “business.”

Writing sex scenes is challenging. Really challenging. You're in a character's head. You're seeing, smelling, tasting, touching, FEELING all that occurs in scene. The brain is a powerful tool. It's the largest sex organ. I suppose if I need a break in writing the hot stuff, you will while reading.
