FIFA should be looking to move world cup. It is unfair to put players in this situation, when "sent to a concentration camp" is an actual possibility (not likely, but it's not impossible). All games should get relocated to stadiums in Canada, Mexico, and Greenland, just to make a point.

I really think they fear the consequences of admitting where we are at, but we are here in the Constitutional crisis. People are being snatched off the street, people are being tortured, people are dying. Giving them 7 days to respond doesn't change it, and it's not justice.

It's a lack of balls. Judges have rules, but they also have wide discretion. They could have moved things quicker, but no one wants to be the one that history books point to and say, "that's what kicked it off." Their sharply worded rulings do as much as Chuck's strongly worded letters.

I'm not sure what else we'd expect from a guy who thinks whale jaw + hack saw = science 🤦‍♀️

Hahaha - I thought the same thing about the people on fox!

There's def a joke in there about frogs, throats, and rfk jr, but I don't feel right about finding it. Fox seems jealous that Kermit only has one hand up his ass controlling his mouth.

Guess their kitchen closed early due to ICE raids, too. Good thing no one was there for the food. They were there for the corruption, and I am sure they got their money's worth. Every asset trump has should be seized and distributed to the citizens as restitution.

2/2 any undercover op requiring plainclothes or unmarked cars needs a judge sign off, or it's inadmissable. If the officer didn't identify themselves before carting you off, dismissal. The level of continuous abuse requires a reset on their power. And no more arming local police with military gear.

1/ You can eliminate ice, but they'll just rebrand. We need reform on any and all agent, investigator, marshall, etc. - uniforms with the agency and a unique ID (no plainclothes) - vehicles with the agency (no unmarked) - require they identify themselves, the agency, and reason for detention

This looks it was assembled with reheated food because everyone in the kitchen called out sick.

I just assumed they would get McDonald's. I bet now they're all wishing they'd gotten McDonald's.

Right?! Why do they keep going to the White House? Why do they sit there while Trump spouts bullshit? Interrupt him or leave! (Better yet, don't go in the first place!) How funny would it have been if he'd pulled out his cell phone and was like, "I have to take this" and just left?

Any public funded IP should have to stay publicly accessible by the licensee. Netflix could allow a "free US user" acct that's just able to stream Sesame Street. HBO held back each season so public access was a season behind. It's messed up.
comment in response to post
No doubt. FCC is moving to take PBS' broadcast licenses, which would make Netflix the exclusive provider of Sesame Street. That's my cynical take. Plus they get to control what was a very influential show for kids.

Would love to know how much trump coin they bought.
comment in response to post
We don't know how long PBS will continue broadcasting. I hope they also required that Netflix provide Sesame Street streaming for free.

Wasn't it Amazon that paid Melania for the documentary?

People didn't stand up when HBO bought it (some pearl clutching and online complaining), so they know no one will care. It's so dire that the majority will just be happy it wasn't totally cancelled. And that's the point - break things so we're relieved when private companies buy it all up.

Same thought. The ship/crew appear to be special and were supposed to take part in the 250th July 4th celebration next year. It *should* be hard to convince people this was some kind of attack.

My wild speculation - we'll find out he struck a deal w the US govt, so he's buying these back at a loss (to the customer) and then going to resell them to the feds at $150k/ea, screwing the taxpayer over again.

Rfk jr did say he admires Trump's "intestinal fortitude" 🤣 still trying to figure out if it was sincere or a public insult.

5/5 We gave law enforcement obscene latitude in use of force - they abused it. Now we need to take it back.

4/ Legislate particulars around detention. Law enforcement cannot snatch you off the street. They must clearly identify themselves, why you are being detained, and where they are taking you. No knock raids should be banned - if there are exceptions, a judge needs to sign off.
comment in response to post
3/ Legislate who can act as an agent - undo the EO allowing private contractors. I don't believe some of these people are actual agents.
comment in response to post
2/ Same for vehicles - all agents must be in vehicles that clearly state their agency. No undercover vehicles unless a judge has signed off.
comment in response to post
1/ Abolish ICE isn't a solution - they call themselves HSI now. It's just branding. What would make a diff is accountability! All law enforcement needed to be identifiable - uniforms with a visible personal identifier, no masks. Undercover/plain clothes requires a warrant or court approved op.

We need to find alternatives to plastic and limit our single use plastic. The plastic island in the ocean isn't from slobs throwing their litter on the beach. It's because bales of plastic "to be recycled" fall off ships crossing the ocean. Recycling plastic to save the earth was a big lie.

Not Catholic, but I have high hopes for this guy. The Vatican has a strict you break it, you buy it policy. Thanks to Vance, America was required to provide a pope of equal or greater value, so you know he's gotta be good.

Stephen Miller should be the mascot for the anti-circumcision movement. He personifies the vibe of someone impotently seething about his missing foreskin.

He still remembers "man woman person camera TV", but doesn't remember an oath he took (for the 2nd time) 100 days ago? Maybe it's time to double-check those cog test results.

Do we get to buy all our goods from the company store too? 🙄

This was my immediate thought. Could totally see her leaving her "work phone" in her bag, since they've been using their personal phones for work. So between passwords from dark web + govt 2fa device...? Otoh, maybe the thief just wanted to send Bukele a txt to let Garcia go.

I have no idea what they are going for with that image. Anyone else getting weird Broadway vibes? That pose... I'm waiting for "and a 5, 6, 7, 8" and animation for the opening dance for COVID the musical.

Idk about credit...I'd call it neutral at best. "Attendance" seems like the bare minimum for any job. It's wild how low the bar is to be considered a "good" elected official. If he spends his last day on earth getting yelled at by constituents, so be it. No one forced him to keep running for office.

2/2 Dems are letting them frame this as an "illegals" issue and few are speaking up. You're right-if they were guilty, they'd be live streaming the gruesome testimony. Dems need to take the narrative back - this is about our right to due process.
comment in response to post
1/2 Due process denied to one is due process denied for all. Money is being paid to El Salvador. Congress holds the purse. Block any and every dollar going to El Salvador until due process is restored.

It's great everyone dumped these "news" sources, but it's important for someone to post their headlines so you see the lies being peddled. When family would debate things w me, I could not understand where they got their info from - I've since learned how much shit the MSM pumps into their brains.

Shit, they need to worry about tomorrow, next week, next month - dementia Don might accept their bribe today and give them what they want, but who knows what he'll do in the future. There's no loyalty - your bribe only bought you this minute, and then all bets are off.

So according to Fox news, we all need to pitch in and sacrifice our savings and retirement to fix the deficit...and at the same time, rich people NEED a tax cut even tho it will add trillions to the deficit. Speechless.

So much to unpack, but does he realize the people that "build robots" mostly sit behind a screen too? To quote the president "it's all computer!"
