Today, June 25, is the birthday of Stanley Almodovar. He died at 23 in the Pulse Orlando attack. On June 12, 2016, Stanley’s mom received a call from his phone at 2 am. A woman’s frantic voice directed her to come as quickly as possible. It wasn’t soon enough. She never saw her son alive again.

Today, June 25, is the birthday of Hallie Ladelle Scruggs. She died in *March 2023, a victim of the Nashville school shooting. A beautiful girl full of life and joy with a brilliant smile, Hallie loved ninjas and unicorns, and enjoyed playing soccer and basketball.

Today, June 24, is the birthday of Kaylinn Cave. She died at 12, killed in a 2024 domestic murder suicide in Yadkinville, North Carolina. Everyone loved Kaylinn. She was a bright 7th grader, a cheerleader, and a band member who loved playing the trumpet. She enjoyed fishing, baking and cooking.

Anthony Rangel was shot and killed while celebrating his 19th birthday last week. Two other people are being treated at a local hospital. Anthony should be alive to celebrate more birthdays. His loved ones said, “He had dreams, ambition, and a heart full of love for those around him.”

Today, June 23, is the birthday of Lilyana Jade Perez. She died at 6 in a domestic murder suicide in 2023 in Sequatchie, TN that took 6 lives. Known as Little Lilyana by family, she was a 1st grader who loved Barbie dolls. She had a beautiful smile and enjoyed playing with her siblings.

June 22nd is the birthday of Ethan Candy. He died at 14, killed by his father in a family annihilation in Yukon, Oklahoma. Ethan was Mr. Social, always surrounded by a big group of friends. He was a good student and was already focusing on a career in the heating and air business.
