@ipso.co.uk and @ofcom.bsky.social the media is biased, and you know it, yet you continue to rule in their favour due to your own internal bias. A lack of reporting of major events on trans issues, or misinformation, and constant platforming of anti-trans groups is clear bias, and you are complicit!

Even as a journalist, I try to give orgs and press officers benefit of the doubt - they lead tricky jobs having to communicate around questionable actions But when lives are at risk, it's harder to forgive - my reflections on a scoop where @wearequeeraf.com has either been lied to - or misled🧵

‪Trans Women in sports - new research continues the trajectory of all data in sports populations - TW align to CW they may be disadvantaged compared to CW & using CM as a proxy for TW is inaccurate. TW were equal with or worse than CW in nearly every metric‬ ‪ bjsm.bmj.com/content/earl...

@alisonrooper.bsky.social has spent six years recording a wonderful documentary about @sophiedancer.co.uk It’s a self financed labour of love. Now she needs help to get it finished and broadcast. I believe sharing human stories is the best way to change minds. Please share and donate if you can.

There’s a non-zero chance that in the absence of any serious response they’ll fall back on the holy scripture of gender criticalism - the book of Cass 😂

🏳️‍⚧️ NEW 🏳️‍⚧️ We don't think the interim guidance published by the EHRC and pushed by Bridget Phillipson is lawful. So today we've started legal proceedings against them.

Fact: At no point in 2016 or since did the British public vote or even indicate a majority support for leaving the European single market.

This is a thoughtful exploration of the For Women Scotland ruling as well as a helpful recent history of equalities law from the Oxford Human Rights Up with Melanie Field podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/r...

I wonder how many more PMQs we’ll have to witness with Kemi Badenoch and Keir Worse-Enoch. Feels like both of their days are numbered.

The most encouraging news I’ve seen since the Supreme Court ruling.

I'm suing the EHRC. “Akua Reindorf KC, was overheard in the Supreme Court building plotting with activists from other hate groups about the next steps to take once the judgment was delivered. This is one of the factual grounds for the challenge.” open.substack.com/pub/ashleeee...

🧵 🏳️‍⚧️ Out today, the 2025 edition of our Trans Rights Index & Map shows an unprecedented reversal: for the first time in the Map’s 13-year history, setbacks in human rights of trans people across Europe and Central Asia now clearly outweigh progress. #TransRights #TransRightsAreHumanRights

My response to the decision of Glasgow Pride to suspend participation by political parties. In short, the culture war against our community has gone on far too long, and needs to end.

At this point somebody ripping Keir Starmer’s mask off only to discover he was Nigel Farage all along would be the least surprising Scooby Doo ending ever.

As a “how it started/how it’s going” comparison, this is pretty wild.

Not a trans person. Not a drag queen. This is a cis woman and member of the church! Does this mean we should be restricting the access by cis women and self-identified Christians to children???
