These protests are a time for performers, cosplayers, freaks and geeks of all kinds to shine.
The Regime wants the images to be of ICE looking scary or vandals burning cars.

Whittier PD has pushed the protesters away from the hotel but are maintaining a skirmish line with some less lethal launchers.

Again repeating that I have not independently confirmed the protest outside of DoubleTree features actual federal immigration authorities, or even if anyone is staying in these rooms. If they are, a Whittier PD helicopter spotlight seems to be accidentally doing what the protesters wanted to do.
