Some people seem to think that when you put on a movie like HELL COMES TO FROGTOWN you get what you deserve. I just like to post these data from time to time to puncture the mythological aura of mid 20th c protests. They were less popular than pretty much any 21st c mass action & people criticizing them used the same lines. Protest is about people coming together, shaping narratives, & building power.

Regarding the assault on Alex Padilla, Susan Collins is concerned and Lisa Murkowski is shocked. If I had a nickel for every time Sen. Collins and Sen. Murkowski expressed "shock" and "concern" over Trump's leadership, maybe it'd be enough money to lobby them to do something about it.
