I remember at some point there being an interview with the creator where he said he had 7 seasons fully mapped out, i can't help but wonder what could have been.

It's some sort of weird irony that i actually think the Hyperion Cantos would be better as a TV show. 2 episodes per pilgrim get the two books knocked out in two seasons.
The second half of the cantos wouldn't work as well but i don't think any studio would have the guts to show the church like that
