I’ve been to precisely one Dolby Cinema that went to the effort to do this. It’s a nice touch

Haven’t seen Flirting and barely remember Huckabees but I can kind of see some of that aimless screwball thing in Russell’s Three Kings. I think that script keeps things moving quite well despite the sprawling action though, whereas Anita feels pretty flabby at times

I said on Twitter that my family has direct experience with SNAP cutbacks and the SAVE plan failing. The latter was *almost* enough to keep me from voting, especially since Harris stopped talking about student loans altogether after August. This kind of stuff absolutely depressed turnout

What’s weird is that I notice screen damage most often at PLF theaters, especially Dolby Cinemas. Seat damage too. The screens usually get fixed eventually, but AMC will just put some tape on a seat with the lower back support utterly destroyed and call it a day.

Yeah, scrolling here is finally starting to feel like a legit Twitter replacement. I don’t know how much longer I can hold out on there. I’m at the unblockable animal snuff ad phase of whatever it’s becoming

Does your TV have Dolby Vision? If so, even the Sony X800M2 would be a significant upgrade for many discs. More reliable than the cheaper X700. Both are currently on sale.

I’ll allow it since F13 took that year off
